I have visited Japhet Creek Park many times throughout the years and always enjoy the peace it offers. This is a small park that offers a wooded area with two trails that wind through alongside Japhet Creek. The trails are short, but are heavily shaded and lined with Saw Palmettos, vines, and there are even a few Magnolia Trees. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping.

This place has a lot of potential to be very nice but it’s just a sad reminder of how trashy humans are. Not much to walk around the trails but there are some steep little areas, not a very smooth trail. Also it’s not very clear where the park ends, begins, or where you should park. I had high hopes for this park reading the other reviews but I didn’t find what they were saying.

It's an interesting area but there is a lot of construction going on right now and you have to get into the park from behind the back. There isn't much there at the moment but it looks like they're developing it.

I found this place by accident. A pleasant jewel in the inner city. You don’t have to leave the city to see some green and enjoy the outdoors. I love this place. Just bring mosquito repellent after the rains. This may have been my first visit but it definitely won't be my last.

June 2024 update

They've totally redone this park. It's amazing for its small size. I can't wait until they build the bridge near the banks giving access to the creek itself. A really nice place to rest...

Very nice walking spot becareful to watch your step, creatures do come out scared and move fast but it is nice very small for now but a clean walking trail. Enjoy I think there maybe restrooms I did want to bring my dogs too but I'm not sure had not seen anything that says they are allowed. I have seen bicycles there and plenty of bends to r rest. There is a sign showing how they plan to expand the park. Not seen any picnic area per se but if you wanted you could sit...
