The old man owner (the husband) is extremely rude and lazy. He treats customer like garbage. I went to this store last Saturday (10/12/2024) and spent half an hour looking for guava and blueberry trees. Because all of guava and blueberry trees are infected with some disease, I couldn't find any tree besides one small custard-apple tree costing $14.99. He's very angry and yelled at me that I spent a lot of time looking for trees but found only one small tree. I replied that I paid money to buy tree and I have the right to choose only the tree which I like. After that, I told him that I wanted to buy 5 bags of fertilizer mix potting soil and 2 bags of cow manure. He gave me the receipt of total $90, I asked him the specific price of each item. He slammed his hand on the table yelling at me that his assistant was about to leave and no one pulled the soil bags for me. I repeated my request to know the specific price of each item. It turned out that he didn't hear my order clearly; he sold me 5 bags of plain soil without fertilizer and he added 5 bags of compost which I didn't want to buy. I told him that he treated customer like garbage and his behavior was very bad. He glared angrily at me, continued yelling at me and slamming his hand on the table that it was a waste of his time giving me the specific price of each item, that I needed to look at the price of each item on the cabinet behind his head. This old man is the craziest and rudest man I have ever known of in my whole life. He is also extremely lazy. He has his arms and legs, but he doesn't want to get out of his chair to show customers where the trees are. He doesn't want to pull the bags of soil for customers when his assistant leaves. He yelled at me many times that his assistant was about to leave and no one brought soil for me. I do not recommend this store. This old man owner disrespects customer and treats customer like garbage. Besides, this JRN sells plants and trees more expensive than the JRN at 4809 Breen Dr. The lady and gentleman at JRN 4809 Breen Dr. are very nice to customers, their plants and trees are much cheaper...
Read moreI wouldn’t go back there again. I spent over $600 and he turn around made me feel like I’m theft. First of all he didn’t think I have enough money to pay him plus I had no idea that he added my items together behind me before I tell him that I was ready to check out. So when I was ready to check out I put my last items into the cart that was left next to the counter because I couldn’t carry it with me and told him that I’m ready to check out. Right after I finished signed the receipt he said “Oh, did you just put that flower on the cart?” I told him I put it there before I told you that I’m ready to check out, so he said” well I was already ring them up” I told him I didn’t know that you were already ring me up before I even said I’m ready that’s why I put that flower into the cart, plus I told him that I want them to be delivered soon I walked in to the store but he forgot and didn’t want to admitted. He was mad because he had to do want more transaction for delivery. And yes he did increase the price on my last item from $20 to $80 if I want it. There were couple ladies saw about what happened and said to me “we so sorry about what he did to you and we decided to go to other place because we are afraid it might...
Read moreIt had a lot plants, no label on each name Everytime you buy you have go inside ask the owner, but the vietnamese owner not friendly that is not how to do business. The 3 gallon panda plants there mark the price is 15.99, when you go out to pay it cost you $20.00 dollars. They're cheating customer. (consumer) becareful when you pay and looking the mark the price in the gallon. Marking on the pot and pay the price is different. If you don't know the plants name and how it look like when you go ask him for helping you, he won't do that, like they don't care or less you want to by or not. It is very poor to do business. Only this place have many different plants. Wishing in the future more business people's open up sell Asians fruit tress, tropica plants, and like suong Sam vine, panda plants, Penney worth, etc .. and JRN nursery know how to deal with customers, and friendly, and should have more people's when customer don't know the plants name, and should have stickers on the pot, and mark all the plants names and recognize each pot and price. When you marking the price on the pot or gallon should be honest and pay what the price are. Not like JRN nursery. I am so disappoint...
