One Church @ Bethel's Family — Attraction in Houston

Just left the morning service as first time visitor.my honest opinion:

I was moved to tears when the pastor spoke like he was speaking to me.this comes from a non believer to getting baptised last year and god took everything even my mental.to being so depressed for a year I dropped out of college and everything. I sit on my porch and hear their worship service. Today I decided to come in.

No offer of a napkin because I was crying so hard.i don’t need any financial help from this church but a little love and encouragement I’m a domestic violence survivor.i didn’t bring and offering because I don’t carry cash wish it was a way to pay online before I could as the deacon moved on.

Some ppl really be hearing god calling and they answer so the power it took me to get out bed and walk 5 ft to this church is amazing nothing but god.

I will say my heart feels less heavy after leaving this church service.

Y’all should attend I might be back if my depression don’t...

Place was easier to find using Google maps... Staff there makes you feel so welcome. As soon as you walk in they have greeters and a computer to receive information self service and someone to help you if you don't know how to use a computer! (That'd be me, a noob!)

For those that are out of work having trouble with groceries, they have a large pantry to serve the community. From what I understand, they helped out the hurricane Harvey victims. Pp Ms. Cash, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for going out of your way to let me get groceries when it wasn't the actual day to get them! I was hungry and you fed me... (excuse me for paraphrasing but I'm pretty sure Jesus said that if you did it for the least of these (someone like me) it is as if you've done it to/for HIm, isn't that right?)

I am hard pressed to say a single thing because I truly have so many wonderful experiences. Pastor August is a mature man and highly favored. Of course, since he and I are one year apart and we both are rooted in the same background ( cajuns) smiles and more so, I am happy to say of the same Christ...well it's all the makings of a book. Yet really everyone is enjoyed and welcomed at this wonderful body of believers. Every member gives any vistor the love of God that lives in this Church and it's members. Its a Great Place!! But don't take my word for it, hurry up and go visit! And watch the Wow rise up in your heart too! Make sure you come to be in the presence of the Lord! Oh, by the way...today I became a new...
