This was my first time visiting Salon Per Se at the Heights location, and I was beyond impressed. I have thick, long, and frizzy hair, so I’m always a bit nervous trying a new place, but Alexander (my stylist) and Mai (his assistant) made me feel completely at ease. They were both incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering me snacks and water while I was getting my hair done, which was such a sweet touch.

Alexander was not only skilled but also super knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how I can maintain and style my hair at home, which I really appreciated. I was there for about five hours, and not once did he rush through the process. You can tell he genuinely cares about both your hair and you as a client, which is rare and so refreshing.

The salon itself is beautiful, the vibe is amazing, and their playlist was on point. They also carry high-quality products like Oribe and Kérastase, which speaks to the level of care and detail they put into their services.

One thing to note: Google Maps shows the salon as being in the middle of the strip center, but it’s actually located at the very end. So don’t let that throw you off!

I came in initially to get a Korean hair perm consultation with Jack. He explained that since my hair is bleached, getting the perm would severely damage my hair. I was also interested in getting the scalp treatment since my Scalp has always been dry and flaky when I scratch it.

I tried the milbon Scalp spa treatment, And the Milbon Conditioning for the hair. Very refreshing and relaxing, I felt like I could have the best nap after they were done.

My hair has never felt this soft and conditioned and shiny, like ever!!

Then Jack gave me a hair trim and livened up my looks with an updated style.

Throughout the process, everyone took the time to explain what they were doing, the value of what they were doing, and how it would benefit my hair type and hair needs. Without upselling me or making me feel pressured.

I can sense the humility as well as the expertise and skill in what they do. It’s hard to find someone that absolutely knows what they’re doing, but is humble enough to educate you and share that with you so that you become empowered.
