The Zone — Attraction in Houston

Stopped in to check out the gym area. Employee was very helpful and gave us all the information.

09/06/2022 This is our first week to work out in the gym. Not crowded there. Games going on in downstairs. Parking is packed on Tuesdays. We got our planned hour of walking and muscle toning machines in no problem. Looking forward to Thursday night.

09/08/2022 Plenty of parking tonight. Got our work out in with no problem. Really like having a fan on the treadmill. Looking forward to next week.

09/13/2022 Had to park in overflow tonight. Guess Tuesdays will always be like this. Not really a problem as there are plenty of people coming and going. One of the 2 treadmills was not working. Disappointing as this is our main reason to come. Looking forward to Thursday.

10-13-2022 I called office week before last and was told the treadmill that has been broken for a while now would be replace the next week. We had things come up and we're not able to go to The Zone until now. Treadmill is still not fixed or replaced. 😢 Again I say the treadmills are the reason we wanted to use this facility. I will call again today and we will see. May need to check out...

OVERALL: Very accommodating, friendly management that will work with you to make sure your event/practice/party is a success and the basketball courts that are clean, well lit, and have some bleacher seating. Not to mention, the pricing is much more affordable than most other indoor sport court places inside the loop.

BACKGROUND: Have had 3 private events here for bubble soccer using Bubble Bump Houston. They even provide goals.

THINGS TO KNOW: In order to keep the courts clean, you are not allowed to bring food/beverages onto the courts, but there is a concessions area where you can buy and consume...

We were here for a grappling tournament for one of our granddaughters. The facility is clean, the bathroom was really clean. But, it is not big enough for a grappling tournament of this size. It was so crowded there was barely any room to walk. My husband and I actually made a strategy plan if there was an emergency. We located the nearest exit door and we would each grab one of our two grands that were there. There is no way it was compliant with fire marshal codes in regard to how many people were allowed in the building...
