Hudson Dog Park — Attraction in Hudson

This dog park isn't very big so there is a lot of contact with other dogs...This is great in my opinion, my boy loves other dogs and does very well with respecting other dogs signals and signs...BUT you would think that other owners would know whether their dog does well in an area where there is a lot of dog interaction. I was there for maybe 40 minutes and there were at least 3 different dog fights...Owners not paying attention to their dogs and I had to physically pull a dog off of mine after he gave several "you're being too rough" signs to the dog. If you're dog doesn't interact well with others or gets too intense, don't bring them to a small dog park, bring them somewhere you can...

Honestly a hit and miss at the dog park here. Some people are entitled and rude for no reason when I use the small side of the dog park for my huskys I own due to one having nerve issues and cant have her at a full run due to her medical issues. They are in the medium size dog breed category as They aren't over 60 lbs. Like can we have respect for others and others dogs please and thank you. I always leave when the small dogs show up as I should do since some people say my dogs are too big. My dogs medical issues shouldn't effect the way I get treated here. Came to Hudson to visit my parents and decided to take my dog here to play after our car ride. We will be sticking to our regular park for sure. No one watches their dogs or picks up after them.
