Shear Class Hair Salon — Attraction in Hudson

I drive 45-50 minutes for this salon! I had a bad experience at my previous salon and did my own hair after that for a couple of years. I finally decided it was time to go back to a salon when my best friend referred me to Shear Class. I was nervous to go back but it was a better experience than I could have imagined. It’s a welcoming environment that makes you feel comfortable. The stylists do beautiful work. I see Jess for my hair and she’s a vivid’s specialist. I always leave the chair feeling confident and it comes out better than I pictured. She is passionate about what she does and personable which makes it a joy to be styled by her. She cares about her clients which makes you want to come back! She knows her stuff so I feel comfortable with her advice for what will work best for my hair in doing coppers, red/orange, and blonde tones. I have always loved my long healthy hair but after my last pregnancy, my hair was so frail and very sad, I hated it. About a year ago (1yr postpartum), I found Taylor and my journey to loving my hair again began. Today, my hair is not yet as long as I'd like it to be but it's happy and healthy and growing and I feel SO good. I found a photo on instagram of a vivid color style that Taylor had posted. I followed her for a year and decided to book an appointment. We did a consult first. She went over everything from cost to process to caring for my hair and maintenance. She was very knowledgeable and personable. I got my first vivid color in May 2022.
