Toys On The Square — Attraction in Hummelstown

Best toy store that I've seen in YEARS!!! This store literally has ANYTHING & EVERYTHING you could ever want or imagine!! I took my daughter, granddaughter, and grandson to this store on 3/2/2024!!! We had an AMAZING time!!! The 2 ladies at the check- out counter were really sweet and even played with my grandson and helped him learn how to play with these puzzle gadgets (kind of like a rubic cube only the puzzle can be made into different shapes)! My grandson was excited and intrigued to see how these puzzles worked. We ended up buying 2 of them because you can actually put different puzzle cubes together to make even more shapes!! The puzzles really held my grandsons interest!!! Normally, he has an extremely, short, attention span!! I think this puzzle might just give my grandson the challenge that he needs to stay focused on a task. I'm so happy we went to Toys On The Square!!! UPDATE 11/24/23: The new location across the street is amazing! It's a bigger and better space, and you can tell they took great care to organize the store with how the sections are set up. We moved away from the area and we miss having this place so close! If you are shopping for a toy/craft/activity of any kind for kids this is your place. Forget Target or Walmart, this is the place! The owners and employees are friendly and helpful. A true gem of a local business.

Original Review: Wonderful local toy store! They have lots of great toys that you won't find in big box stores like target. They also have a good selection of arts and crafts supplies as well as children's books. This is our go to place whenever our kids need a birthday present for a friend. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Always a good idea to support local businesses.

I was traveling for business in Hershey and drive by this store. My husband said I should go and see if I could find our grandson something for Easter. I walked in the store and was immediately greeted by the owner. I explained that my grandson liked different toys and it is very hard for us to find things for him. By the time I saw everything I was overwhelmed, such a wonderful store. I bought him a plasmacar which I never heard of and he likes to build. I bought him quite a few items and the owner even demonstrated them for me. He gave me a stress relief keychain which I am always playing with. My husband and I will be traveling to hershey to do our Christmas shopping for our little guy. Fantastic store, people, atmosphere, and fun. Thank you for being so kind...
