This beach is a fantastic spot to spend the day! The views are absolutely beautiful, and there’s plenty of parking, which makes visiting super convenient. It’s also a great place to barbecue, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family. The washrooms are well-kept and clean, which is always a big plus. What really adds to the experience are the small businesses and vendors set up along the beach, giving it a lively and welcoming atmosphere. On top of that, there’s an awesome bar with a delicious kitchen, so you can enjoy great food and drinks while taking in the scenery. A wonderful beach that has a little bit of everything!

This is a big, beautiful beach with great views of the skyline. Reggie’s on the Beach is a fantastic addition with seating right on the beach! This is also known as ā€œBongo Beachā€ because these wonderful humans are here playing for the public every single day.

Came here a few weeks ago for a Beach Clean-up volunteer event. I never knew there is another beautiful and large beach here on the southern shore.

Edit (Sept 2021): After going to the 57th street beach which had no broken glass in the sand, and a shallow water entry, I have to revise this review down and say that it seems a little worse when a nicer beach is a two minute drive away.

I have all sorts of feelings about this beach. The water here is my favorite of any beach on the south side. We have kids, so I love that the water stays very shallow for so long. The sand is pretty nice, not rocky at all. The beach is huge, so there's always a place to set up and relax. Reggies on the Beach is great for a quick bite. The beach is almost always lively with people having a good time. The huge problem at this beach is the litter. There is so much trash floating in the water and broken glass in the sand. It is really frustrating that the beach isn't cleaned more regularly and that people don't seem to bother to take care of it. Parking is always full on nice days, but that is true of all...

It’s crazy how this is the 63rd beach. There’s possibly hundreds of beaches out there, but this is the 63rd. I don’t know what’s so special about the number, but it just seems so crazy that we would be in the double digits considering how many beaches there are.

Oh, my bad I miss read. 63rd Street Beach. That makes way more sense. Because I know for a fact that there isn’t that many streets out there in the world. I think in my lifetime I’ve probably seen 10 roads at max. So there could be possibly 100 throughout the world and this just happens to...
