CdA Casino is one of the best large casino experiences in Eastern Washington - Western Idaho area. Took me a few tries, but I finally had a winning streak at the machines. Of course, greed got the best of me . . . the casino giveth and it taketh away. In spite of losing money I had a great time. Deli in the front lobby of the casino has some good food options. Wasn’t too excited to eat their prepackaged salad, but I did enjoy a really good breakfast. Two eggs, two hash browns, biscuit and gravy, and tender chicken fried steak . . . all for less than $12. What a way to start the morning. Coffee and sodas are free at the beverage station in the gaming area. The casino has a non smoking wing next to the hotel lobby area. I don’t smoke but felt the air in the main smoking gaming area was tolerable. Most people didn’t smoke or vape so that helped. Some gaming machines can be generous. You have to try a few before settling on a particular set that pay out. Sometimes you get dumb lucky like I did and mistakenly max out a bet on a winning session. I also stayed overnight at the hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, climate control worked fine, shower and bathroom were nice. There were two chairs, a bench, a mini fridge, and a TV in the two double bed room. Reviewers complaining about the casino’s hotel experience are the same who would complain about steak at a seafood restaurant. I expected 2 star accommodations and felt it was about 2-3 stars. Last but not least, staff were friendly and all were helpful. People should visit the casino more and support all the people who work here. Overall, this was a great place to spend a few days.

6.2.25 updated review for Jackpot Java & Creamery: After lunch at the Red Tail, I wanted to check out Jackpot for a dessert. I saw they had Huckleberry Sour Cream Pie and wanted to try it. The pie had a great taste with a fluffy airy texture, yet still creamy. The huckleberry flavor was subtle and not too too sweet, but just the right berry sweet. There were berries in every bite. Instead of the traditional meringue topping, it was whipped cream sprinkled with sugar crystals. It's worth noting, the crust was really yummy and softly crumbled with each bite. The pie to whipped topping to crust--all in all, I'm satisfied with the ratio and portion. I appreciate the majority of their baked goods are made in-house. I would get this pie again. For the month of June, the drink special is: Huckleberry Pink Lemonade ZipFizz (see picture). 11.27.23: This review is for the Jackpot Java and Creamery coffee and bakery. I'm visiting from Reno, Nevada for the holiday and have gone here a handful of times for coffee and baked goods. The coffee is really good and I've been satisfied with the Vanilla Latte and the special, Eggnog Pumpkin Latte. I've tried a handful of baked goods and so far everything has been pretty tasty. I'm looking forward to continuing to explore the menu and try all the other yummy looking treats!

Stayed at the CDA Casino with our preteen, and I have to say there is nothing to do for children here. We weren't expecting to do a whole lot since it is primarily a casino, but there is literally nothing. Not only that, but the only way to get to the food from the older hotel is by walking through the smoking section of the casino. We all left with sore throats and headaches. My primary complaint is how filthy our room was. They didn't even vacuum as there was someone's fingernail and trash still on the floor. I question whether the sheets were even changed as the beds had dirt and hair all over the comforters and pillows. We ended up dusting off the blankets and sleeping on top of them fully clothed because we were so grossed out. We aren't gamblers, just wanted to get away for a little staycation. But we played some machines and every machine we played took our money in under a minute. Not even little wins to keep us at the machine or make you want to stay. I genuinely believe people sit at those machines and just go broke. The only positive was the doughnuts and the establishment is pet friendly. Loved seeing all the dogs.

Never in my life have I given 1/5. If there were no starts that would have been my choice.||Don’t frequent the Couer d’Alene Casino, or at least don’t consider building 4.||My sister and her husband came into town so we decided to spend the night at the Couer d’Alene Casino Hotel. I will be candid, I am not a picky person. My wife is more of a “never come back but not complain” person. On the other hand, my sister, who just retired from owning a four-star restaurant expects quality when promised. We rented two side-by-side rooms in the CDA Casino Spa building (4). To me, the rooms were fine but I am easily satisfied. I will admit it was not as nice as I expected. They were clean.||We spent the evening on CDA Cruise and had a decent night’s sleep back at the hotel. I was the first to wake up and attempted to shower. No hot water. I ran the water for about 10 minutes with no change. This is when it became ridiculous. I went down to the front desk to report the issue. The young lady was polite but this is how the conversation went:||“Sir – run the water for 30 minutes and see if it helps.”||“I did it for 10 minutes, and it never warm up more than lukewarm. Is my room the only other room without hot water?”||I am a medium-sized 64-year-old retired teacher. My only encounter with the law was a speeding ticket 32 years ago. I am not too imposing and most would call me too polite. But the next comment caught me off guard and I truly felt threatened.||“Sir, if you want, I can call maintenance, but if I do, I will also have to call security to accompany them.”||“I am sorry. I am trying to be polite but doesn’t this sound hoaky?”||“Sir, your room sits at the end of the line for heated water and you are attempting to shower at the busiest time.”||“But we paid full price and were never told about issues.”||Shebang! The real problem? The hotel does not maintain enough water. We were there on a Thursday and the hotel and parking lot we were in appeared to be less than 25% full. How could there be any water ever, if the other three buildings were full of guests? How can you rent rooms like that?|But, she followed up by restating “Sir, if you are not satisfied, I can call maintenance, but as I said, I will also have to call security to accompany them.”||My sister was able to coerce a $30 refund. Was a room with no hot water still worth $170. Nope!||We could never shower up to checkout and as we were leaving we encountered two other patrons with the same encounter. All were told the same story and were threatened in the same manner. I realize I didn’t teach physics, but it seems that if you tell everyone in the building to turn on your water and run it warm for 30 minutes, you are only perpetuating the problem.||We were on a Native American reservation with reservation laws being threatened with Native American security by a Native American attendant. I will drive through the reservation because I have no choice. But I don’t think I will ever spend my money in that casino or hotel. I did not...

Went here as a surprise bday dinner/38 Special concert. The dinner at the Chinook steak /pasta/ seafood restaurant was subpar. We sat at the bar and one of the bartenders didn't know how to make any drinks - I understand he was probably new but he dumped things, each drink was different and ignored us ; took forever to get service ; the apps of stuffed mushrooms - which tasted like ol fish were not good and the wedge salad which had very little dressing and tasted flat was the prelude to not a great dinner. We had our apps and had to wait before we could get our dinner order in. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it tasted like sour milk. It was not creamy or fresh and tasted old. My bfs burger was well done not med rare although he said it was ok. Overall, not a great experience and the food was awful overall..especially for the prices! The concert on the other hand was awesome. We had great seats and it felt more intimate then a huge stadium, which I loved. However my nite didn't end well. When the concert was over, I knew I had $45 in Freeplay so we decided to play. I inserted my card in one of the slot machines and it said Happy Bday and I had $55 to use. I attempted to transfer it to the machine but couldn't get it to work. Went to desk and girl brought me out to the floor and what I wasn't doing was putting cash in then I could access my Freeplay. This was finally told to me after I already stood in line and handed a small card with steps... with the one missing about the money being inserted. So that was 2 trips wasting about 30 min. I then met up with my bf who had a little over $20 on his cash out ticket and gave it to me. I went to a slot, put in my card, my password and saw my $55 and put in his ticket. It only registered the $20 , so I played about 6 pushes and got his initial ticket to $32. I cashed out, went 2 seats down, put in card password and the $32 ticket and now my acct says no freeplay. I immediately went to the desk and explained, she had another rep help me and she advised me that my Freeplay was spent on that one machine. I explained the $55 never appeared on the machine only the $20 ticket balance. I pressed about 6 times, only betting about $1 and I built it up to the $32 and cashed out and I never played $55 worth at that many spins at a buck or so a piece. She said I spent it and that was that. I felt so ripped off that I will never go there again. Unlike at the Spokane Tribe casino, who is very user friendly and u don't have to pay before ur Freeplay can be used; balances are easy to see and is transferred like cash to ur slot balance...and it was not like that here. I would not recommend eating or playing here. The venue and my concert was awesome but everything else was a 1 at best and it ruined my birthday. Never...

Weve finally learned our lesson coming here. Most likely won’t ever be back unless we need a quick pit stop in our way out of town somewhere. After years and years of coming and everytime we say never again…and just keep coming…this time we said nope. Never again. There’s sooo much but this time as we checked in we were “greeted” by a man named David. We had to do the greeting and he acted like we were the biggest inconvenience of his life. He wouldn’t even make eye contact. Acted like he had better things to do..and we were the only ones at the desk. No line, noother people lined up. Nothing. We had to pry information out of him and continually just got smirked out for any questions we had. I finally looked at his name tag and asked if he was having a bad day and he abrubptly said “no”. You could actually tell this was his normal everyday smirky jerky personality. So that’s how you start your vacation…with him. He knows it all but doesn’t want to be kind or give you any info and if you ask he looks at you like your stupid. If you ask where a certain thing is he just says, you’ll find it! And points in the direction to go. Wow! And then you go to the players club and there’s two young girls working who obviously hate there job and hate to have to help you. Again. People are an inconvenience to anyone working there. They act like they are doing you the biggest favor by just showing their face at the desk. Have no time for questions or personality or etiquette. Worst customer service everywhere in the hotel. Seems everyone hates their jobs but still get paid for being rude to people so it works for them. Doesn’t work for us. They need more and newer restaurants. It’s always the same ole same ole deli or red tail restaurant. And one other one that doesn’t ever seem to be open when we’re there. In all the years we’ve been there we have literally won a little something one time! We brought our golf clubs just in case in our road trip we found a great golf course. Well don’t try and play here unless you’re one of the richest. It was over $150-180 a person!!!!!! And Their clothing in the pro shop is highly over priced. Who can afford this place??? It’s dirty and needs their ventilation updated. It’s one of the smokiest casinos we’ve been to. I think the highlight of ours gay and trip was a blueberry pancake we had at the restaurant hat was delicious and as big as the whole plate . Other that it was just a reminder to...
