Awesome day in the mountains! Beware, the curves are dangerously narrow (single lane). Once your there, you pay a 12 dollar per vehicle charge to use the installations and trails. There are 4 trails that take about an hour each. Easy to difficult. The difficult one takes you all the way to the summit. After that you can do some unlimited shopping at their local thrift, gift, jewelry, vintage, candle, and soap shops. There is only one Italian restaurant that allows outside seating for dining, but their dinner plates run about 18 bucks. Gas is cheap at 3.09 for unleaded regular. Read moreTook today, a Friday, off to spend time with the family and enjoy some snow. The nature center was pretty much perfect for what we were looking for. Paid $10/adult, kids were free. Got there early, around 1030 am, only a couple other people there. Walked a little ways down a trail and got to sled, saucer, build a snowman on pristine, untouched snow. . . Awesome.
