Really enjoyed the hike. Due to heat, smoke and elevation, it felt on the more challenging side of easy (close to moderate), but absolutely worth it. I highly suggest adding in Hidden Beach to refresh after the hike and hike back on the East-West Shore Trail. The street-side parking is very expensive. I recommend parking somewhere with a daily rate and taking the free shuttle bus. When you get to the rock, be sure to look around to find the rock that is the name sake of the hike..it'll be obvious when you find it :)
Also worth noting, there is a $2 fee per walked on this hike. I am guessing many don't pay, as it is an envelope station a bit into the hike, but my understanding is that you are...
