⭐️ Five-Star Review for Tunnel Creek Café – North Lake Tahoe ⭐️
Tunnel Creek Café is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in North Lake Tahoe! ☕️🍳🥞 The coffee alone is worth the visit—they offer a variety of options, and everything is brewed to perfection. 🔥 I had a breve cappuccino that was expertly made ☕️✨, while she enjoyed her coffee with alternative milk 🥛(almond or oat, I believe). So many options to choose from! 🎯

For breakfast, she had eggs over easy 🍳 on avocado toast 🥑🍞, topped with fresh arugula 🌿—a simple yet delicious choice. Meanwhile, I went all in with the Grand Slam All-American breakfast 🥞🥓🍳🌭—loaded with sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes! 😋 We even ordered extra bacon 🥓🔥 because, well, why not? Everything was cooked just right and absolutely hit the spot. 🎯💯

The atmosphere here is another reason to visit. It’s rustic and full of character 🤠🏔️, with that classic Tahoe charm. We sat beneath a giant pair of bull horns 🐂⚡️, which definitely added to the wild West feel. 🤩 Plus, being so close to what used to be the Ponderosa Ranch 🌲🐴 brings that old-school Tahoe nostalgia to life. Such a cool spot!

Over the years, I’ve done thousands of reviews, but for one reason or another, many never made it online when I originally wrote them. Read moreI saw your reply, but he did tell me that I should’ve complained sooner, and he also said that if I had mentioned I had no cucumbers on my salad they would’ve brought them to me, and if I needed more ranch they’d have gotten it for me. But when I specifically ask for extra extra ranch and get two tiny cups it makes no sense to ask for more if they couldn’t listen to begin with. He said he only could refund 15 dollars of my food which i also I had a sandwich that had spring salad mix on it instead of lettuce which means actual lettuce (not spring salad mix-which was not an option) lettuce was an option on your menu which is what should've been on my sandwich. Sir /Ma'am, i do not lie i do not have time for that kind of nonsense. I would really like the refund of 55.17 to be put back on my card. I had never been to your little cafe and when I entered it seemed like a good place to eat till I got my food. A that wasn’t the first person I tried to talk to either I tried to get several people’s attention. But when you have a broken kneecap and are in a leg brace it’s hard to run after someone to get their attention. I mean unless you want me to chase them down and send you a bill for further injury to my knee?
First impression, looked like a great place to eat The atmosphere is awesome. Though the cashier didn’t listen to my order and messed up my food completely, I got cold chicken on my salad which should’ve been hot, and I asked for cucumbers for my salad, the manager who came to the table To fix things was cocky, snotty and told me had I complained about my food sooner he would’ve fixed it. But this place has a line out the door and people every where how in the world am I supposed to complain when everyone I see has a handful of food. I’m super angry so my recommendation is don’t eat here. A this is the first time I’ve ever been here and I’m seriously disappointed because...
Read moreI stumbled upon a breakfast spot that has quickly become my absolute favorite! Not only do they serve up a fantastic breakfast menu, but their French toast is an absolute must-try. Each bite was a heavenly delight, perfectly fluffy and drizzled with delectable toppings. After savoring this delicious meal, I had the perfect options for an active day ahead. Right at the bottom of the restaurant, a hiking trail called Monkey Rock, promising picturesque views and an invigorating journey through nature's wonders. The trail is a blend of tranquility and adventure, making it the perfect post-breakfast activity, not to forget it’s views. Alternatively, if you prefer a leisurely ride, renting a bicycle for a scenic journey along the shore is the way to go. The cool breeze, the sound of waves, and the stunning vistas make this experience one you won't forget. This breakfast spot has it all - mouthwatering food and the perfect launching point for outdoor fun. Whether you're a foodie or an adventurer (or both!), this place has something for everyone. So, if you're looking for a delightful breakfast and an exciting day ahead, head over to this fantastic spot and indulge in their heavenly French toast before setting off on your hiking or cycling adventure.
