I've truly enjoyed what I have heard from your group online, thank you for following God's call for you! It bring such joy to my heart to see younger adults so enthusiastic and passionate about worshipping God.
This next note is for all, sparked by the comments I am seeing.
In regards to profitability, even if a church sings worship with no cameras, no livestream etc., they are still, potentially, profiting off of the tithes generated. Say a church with no cameras completely adopts new, modern, acclaimed music and it increases their congregation and tithes by 20% over 3 years, that is "profit".
We need to let the worship be free-flowing, or we could create a disastrous environment where these beautiful works of art for the Lord become nearly impossible to be shared and spread.
We should celebrate the spread of this art and focus on making it easier to do, not harder.
The heart of the issue is this: If anyone is in the space of worship music/video/production to make an idol of profit/money, obviously, we are in it for the wrong reason.
The expansion and reach of Christian music should be celebrated, as God's Kingdom expanding supersedes all things, including profit.
"He must increase, but I must decrease"
I'm not saying it is easy, as it is certainly difficult, but we have to walk the true walk. Let us serve and love the Lord with all our heart, all our mind, and all...
Read moreI respect the idea of Indiana Bible College, and I truly believe they are doing a great job preparing future leaders in the church. HOWEVER, the fact that they are unaccredited and have no plans on pursuing accreditation makes me believe that everyone who graduates from this institution, regardless of how intelligent they may be, will be woefully disadvantaged when trying to find a job/further their education. Accreditation is the only way employers/graduate admissions can know that the subject matter learned was valuable and held to high standards. Unfortunately, I am forced to give a one-star review due to lack of...
Read moreVery disappointed in this organizations refusal to even acknowledge their ignorance other peoples property. Complicit in copyright infringement, and refusing to accept the blame for their blatant abuse of music copyright. This “holier than thou” place should be ashamed of themselves. If they cannot see their copyright infringement in their copying of music ideas from another established and published composer, then they are not at an academic level worthy of a...
