Wes Montgomery Park — Attraction in Indianapolis

I dont even know where to start. So much weed in the air. Kids fighting. Kids calling young children out of their names. I can say that it was clean and the splash pad was awesome, although not fully working, the playground was nice too, but i would never take my family there again. I'm giving this park 2 stars because the splash pad is actually really nice, and my kids had a lot of fun. We went about a week ago and it was very hot but the kids cooled down for a few hours. The splash pad itself is well kept and looked clean enough. Now, the negatives: little kids playing here alone with no adults in sight, the smell of marijuana in the air, older kids/teens hanging around cussing and smoking, and locked bathrooms. I went to this park for a celebration of life ceremony for a dear friend. The family paid money to use the park. Trash was on the ground, grass was not cut or trimmed. Restrooms remained locked an hour + into the gathering. Power was not working tech had to try to work on the issue. Men's restroom door had to stay propped open as lock wasn't working properly. Very disappointed that this park was in this shape. Other parks in more affluent areas are kept in better shape. Parks department...
