Well after a few months of renovation and much anticipation time I am excited, and ready to go. My GF and I going out finally, Saturday at spot light 29 they had Banda night, which I love yasssss. I get to entry and it's $15 cover per person, ok not bad; new renovated Blue Bar. My disappointment came when I find out that the only way you can get bucket of beers is w a table $100 for table 6 beers and 4 chairs....wow really..?? Not to mention service was terrible as they only seem to catered to tables; SMH, and to add to insult band looked like they pulled off out of a dive bar, ridiculous. In my opinion spotlight 29 is trying toake some of that money that we leave behind when Banda plays, but I think this is outrageous for the demographics; I'll be surprised if this plane gets off the ground. This Banda sin nombre I can go see at Zelda's for free and get a 6 or 12 beer bucket and reserve table at no cost for table... ridiculous daught I'll be coming here again...+ Nash and his live band is playing down stairs we should stayed down there but we wanted to give it a try...first and last. Disappointment Joel C.

I got 29 REASONS YOU SHOULD VISIT! #1-29: This is FIREBIRDS Territory LOL. Jk, despite the constant advertising you've probably seen, it's hard to miss Coachella's Spotlight 29 Casino. It's a local favorite and it's easy to understand why. It's a very spacious location and there's great food and entertainment! I've been here for Firebirds watch parties at the large entertainment hall and had a great time! Spotlight's Taproom 29 is also home to watch parties if you're interested in any sports, craft beer and yummy food! There's also an Asian-inspired restaurant and a bar/sandwich shop. There's a good mix of patrons that come, lots of families visit for the food! Spotlight is right off the 10 freeway and easy to get to, there's plenty of parking out front. My only concern this time is that there was a smoke smell. It happens once in a while but I really don't care for it when I walk in and surprised with it. Most of the time I don't get a smoky scent, but be careful. Oh and the restrooms need to be a little cleaner, it’s not a major problem but they need to be checked on more.

Spacious gaming experience. There are several types of games, I prefer Keno. They have a section for Keno or you can play at the bars. The denominations range from a minimum of 5 cents - 40 cents, a quarter - 8 quarters, and $1 - $8 depending on where you play. Most people working on the floor are very friendly, I've only had bad experiences with beverage servers. Apart from gaming there are diverse options for eating. You can grab a sandwich to go or sit down and have lobster tails. The food at Taproom 28 is AMAZING! I had 2 lobster tails, veggies, and mashed potatoes. My daughter had the Shrimp Scampi Alfredo. Currently on Tuesdays lobster tail dinners are $24.95 but I'd order them again if it weren't on a Tuesday. Our server was extremely kind and the bar environment was not hostile. You can watch the various screens as you enjoy your meal or you can simply sit, enjoy your meal, and chat with your friends at the table. Come check it out!

It pains me to write this because i dont like to do reviews unless its a good one but too many things bothered me. To start off they give you 40 in free play when you join (saw the big sign from the freeway) but what they dont tell you till your there is you only get 10 in slot play that day and then 10 in table match play for one bet. I dont even play table games usually but i thought I would try and use it with the manditory 10 minimum bet to use the match for one spin (usually too rich for my blood) but when i made my way back to the tables the only roulette table that had been open was now closed. I don't play the other games so both my other half and myself were each out the 10 in play for that. .....you have to come back avother day to get the other 20 of your remaining 40....no thanks we live too far .....went to the buffet to eat and was really dissapointed in the quality plus I asked what kind of meat was in something and was told beef but it wasn't beef (i cant eat certain things) then went to get coffee and the self service bar (was happy they had that) but no lids and of coarse i spilled the hot coffee on my hand as I was leaving the casino...ouch ...I gave a second star because it was very clean and beautiful throughout otjer wise would have gotten one ...the bus boy at the buffet and the young man at the players club were both very pleasent people and I really...

Been have been here many times over the last five years, and like all casinos, it's all about timing.. Tonight the house whooped my a**.. Same story as the last 6/7 times I've played there...

But bitterness aside, they have really but some money into this place and they have to have the largest selection and mix of slots in the valley... Plenty of poker, keno, old school triple 7s and more Buffalo than than the Dakota's combined... Although it seems that they sleep more than play or run with the pack these days...

They have a small high roller area, a poker room and a good indoor venue for music (and attract decent talent).. Food option suck and close early, at least the food court,, but I can't speak to the restaurant as I've never indulged....

Decent odds on poker machines, 9/5 if you are playing dollars on double / double (8/5) on quarters.. So what's the bottom line, they are putting money into the technology which will drive the industries growth for the next 20 years, but without a hotel or any other real facilities I'd put them on the bottom of my recommended list...

They are however, the last exit in Coachella Valley, so if you aren't ready to hit 10 East just yet, have already passed Fantasy and Blyth awaits you.... Why not take the Dillon Exit, for the epic Pilot truck stop??? Oh and now you are just a short...

Warning, if you cash out a ticket from a slot machine always make sure you bring it to the cash cage! My husband put it into a ticket redemption machine & it didn’t dispense his cash. So the slot supervisor advised us that we would have to come back the following day to pick up the money after they audit the machine & see that it’s over some money. They are more than capable of viewing the cameras & seeing that no money was given. Then they said they will call the following day so we can pick up the cash, no on ever called. We called 3 days later so we could go get our money. They still gave us the run around before allowing us to get the money. Katina was telling us she was the highest supervisor I would be able to talk to, which was a lie! She was extremely rude & unprofessional. She should be fired for the way she treated us. After my husband finally got his money, which was only $69.30 by the way, he wasn’t even given any kind of compensation for their machines malfunction. You would’ve thought we were trying to cash out an $800 ticket or something but no they drug it out & made us wait & go back for $69.30! We drove 30 mins each way & nothing for compensation! We go here often but not anymore! We will now go to...
