My wife tried to get me to take this hike. Being woefully out of condition, I declined. Then she sent me photos of Lake Mary, Lake Martha, and Lake Catherine. I wish I was is better shape. It's only a 4.4 mile, 3 to 4 hours out-and-back trail, but it's has an elevation gain of 1,243 feet peaking at 9,960 feet elevation!
Our older son went with my wife. They took nearly 3 times as long going up hill than coming back down. Most of the delay is stopping to take breathtaking pictures. Highly recommended for those in good...

The hardest part of the trail is the first part that takes you to Lake Mary but once you get there getting to Lake Martha and Lake Catherine is a piece of cake and worth it.
