Historic Ironwood Theatre is a gem. Saw the performance of "All things equal: The Life and Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsberg" on Thursday evening. Had a balcony seat with excellent view of the stage. Architecturally amazing theater from the era of vaudeville and silent movies, having been built in 1928. The ceiling is beautifully painted and the walls have ornate moldings and fixtures. The acoustics are very good in this opulent theater, with plenty of seating. It now offers live theater, musicals, etc.. This is a true treasure...

I grew up in this theater. The acoustics are phenomenal, the seating is old school but comfy, the paintings are just as breathtaking as they were when I first saw them. They also seem to get a lot of talented performers to come through.

I hope they'll have more plays like in the old days, but any show that comes through always is...
