Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Ironwood

I do not like to be too nit picky. I am an out of towner so this review is based on one experience and unfortunately it will be a while before I could update it again since I'm over 7 hours from home. That being said, a few good things and a few bad stuck out with this outing. First the not so great. When we walked in I was told to have a seat wherever I wanted. I chose my seat and then me and my partner waited 10 minutes to even be greeted. They were not busy at this time. I ordered the szecuan chicken(sorry probably spelled wrong) and my partner ordered the honey garlic chicken. We both got the egg drop soup and it was too thick. Almost seemed a bit slimey to me. My food was Luke warm and my partners was super hot. That was the major negative things. The food itself was not unappealing but was not something I would rave about. The portions were large but still pricey. For two people the bill was 46$. You are charged 2.25 for a can of pop. The waitress was really nice when she was serving us. amazing atmosphere & delicious dishes!! my family & i eat here at least twice a week. our "must try dishes" are the crab rangoons, spring rolls, chicken lo mein, General Tao chicken, & Beef with broccoli, however the menu has so many different options you're sure to find something everyone likes! everything is always so fresh & delicious plus they can make things gluten free & modify your meal to make it exactly how you want! the food came out so fast & the servers here are always super friendly, open & welcoming! even when the place is super super busy they always try to make it the best dining experience they can! anytime someone asks us for recommendations on where to eat we always say "Golden Dragon"! definitely worth stopping in for some...

I had the pleasure of dining at Golden Dragon restaurant in Ironwood, Michigan on Sunday, January 14th, around 1pm in the afternoon. Our server, Kayla, provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The food at Golden Dragon was simply excellent. Starting off with tea and honey followed by our food orders that was prepared very well. Certainly a delight. Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was also outstanding. Kayla was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. My colleague engaged in light conversation and Kayla was very friendly. We recommend Golden Dragon restaurant for its delicious food and wonderful service.
