Tammy is my go-to lash tech here and she’s incredible. She’s gentle, quick, and always remembers how I like my lashes. She’s also really patient and happily makes any adjustments I need. My sets last a very long time - I can often get 3 weeks or more out of them - and look good even as I start losing lashes. On top of that, the prices at Elegant Lashes by Katie are very reasonable, so remember to tip well! The techs do great work, it’s HARD work, and they’re charging less than many other places.

I’m a tough lash client because my eye shape is round and my natural lashes are stick straight and point down in the outer corners, so the wrong mapping can easily make my eyes look droopy. I’m also very picky about symmetry, and I prefer a more natural/wet look above the more popular volume sets. Tammy nails it every time. She somehow manages to make my outer corners perfect and avoids the droopy or caterpillar look, which has been a challenge at other lash places. My lashes look glamorous but really natural and I’ve had many people say they can’t tell I have extensions.

I booked an appointment (6/1/25) with Katie for 6/10/25. They later text me two days (6/8/25) before my appointment that Katie "requested the day off" and now all her clients have to be rescheduled. They then asked me if I would be ok with Fiona (another lash tech), at that point I said it was yes, only because I had no other free days to book another lash appointment elsewhere. I was headed on vacation that weekend with no other availability.

Once I arrive to my appointment, Fiona takes me back to the lash area and I show a photo of how I want my lashes done. I tell her the specific curl and length (c-curl and 14) that I want. I let her know I want only a "classic/natural look" with the single strand lashes. Instead she used clusters. It made my eye look so heavy and dark. Removing was terrible! Where to begin...I have been a Katie's client for 3 years. First in Tustin- 30 minute drive to Tammy, my technician. She was the fourth technician and I never looked further. When she moved to Katie's in Irvine- 5 minutes from my home what a lucky girl I was. In April 2024, I moved to a beautiful home in Vista Hills. Its now December 2024.
