Great Park Sports Complex — Attraction in Irvine

SOCCER AREAS: most fields are easily accessed thru the various parking lots. fields are in fair condition. water fountains also have dispensers for sport bottles. seem to have enough bathrooms so no need for porta-potties. no chairs allowed on turf fields which is fine for most fields but a few have a very narrow space between edge of field and hill drop offs that separate one field from the next. each field has small stadium seating (I mean SUPER small) and on those fields, where the natural grass area is mostly hill, the stadium seat is useless (referring specifically to spectator side...

Giving this a four sure to construction and ease of access. My wife got us tickets to see the OCSC (soccer match). It was a good game and the field as well as stadium were really nice. The general admission seating is ok but make sure you bring your stadium seats or some kind of pad as they are metal bleachers. Considering that it’s getting up there in age. With constant use. Most of the fields have stayed very playable. Even for field 19 which has very obvious signs of wear it is still a very decent playing field.

I’ve found parking lot 4 to usually have spaces available when other places have filled up.

Finally the restrooms continue to be amazingly serviced. Thumbs up to the crew keeping that place so clean even with the volume of traffic and the crazy...
