The facility was very nice and originally would've recieved 5 stars from me. However when I asked about why there wasn't any steve McNair memorabilia. The lady said they a lot it's just not on display because he was murdered, which is why it should be out on display.🙄 also there was very little in Marcus Dupree & only 1 tiny article on steve McNair both of which were basically tucked away hidden in a closed off section. I feel like peoples personal biases and opinions should not overshadow what these missiapians talents and legacies. Read moreThis was my first stop when I got to Jackson, I'm a huge sports fans and like to enjoy sports museums for states who have them, so this one was a no brainer. When you first open the door you are greeted by an older women and gentlemen, both very nice folks. They have you watch about a 10 minute video on Mississippi sports, very nice short film. At first glance, I was amazed how clean and nice the museum was. As I proceeded to all of the memorabilia, I was impressed on the set up and how much stuff they had on display for all of the different athletes. Let me tell you, this gentleman is a wealth of information about this Hall of Fame. He is very passionate about all of the greats that have had their beginnings in this state. You pay $5, and then the tour starts with a video. In order to be inducted into this hall of fame, you must have been born in this state and gotten your start here.
