Imperial Suites — Hotel in Jackson

Horrible horrible horrible horrible GHETTO experience at this hotel! Never in my life experienced such horrible service!! Booked with who i thought was imperial suites reservations, and they said it was fine. Then, we pay 127 dollars over the phone. This guy Jojo said he was helping us, but none of it made sense. So this hotel planner charged us $127, then we get to the hotel, and we think it's for a king bed, and it's for two doubles in a crap room. so I went to Jojo he acted like he helped me he said all they had was that I paid $60 and I would have to call Expedia, when Expedia wasn't even the ones to book it, it was some place called hotel planner. So I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out, and we fought over $30, and i had been driving all day, so i just wanted to sleep. So all together, I end up paying 170 for this dingy hotel with these bright neon lights and just a horrible experience. They supposedly couldn't see that I paid the 127 on their end, but either way, they should have favored it. Also, they were rude as all get out in the morning when I asked for money back. He said I help you. Help me? More like steal from me?! Its sickening people treat people like this. Every time I asked for a manager, there was no one. On top of that, someone tries to come into our room at like 1 am. with a key because they switched our rooms THREE times and fave our room key to another couple! the people above us are stomping around, so we didn't sleep at all, and I have stayed all over the place and have traveled so many places and have never had such awful experience.I would never even recommend this to my worst enemy! Not to mention I have a service dog they said it was okay to bring her and then in the morning the guy JoJo is yelling at me, that i was not allowed to have the dog and he was trying to help me, yet i was told over the phone she was okay because she was a service dog, and he didnt say one thing about my dog through the night and was like i could have charged you 250.00, mind you none of this my fault, So how is that fair if two different people are telling me two different things?! This whole time the guy said he was part of Imperial reservations so when I booked it via phone call and I thought that was Imperial reservations and It wasnt and they couldn't help me at all and "it wasn't in their system" and proceeds to tell me that he would have charged me $120 if I had walked in and not made it over the phone, but on the phone i was told if i didnt make the reservation the price goes up when i get there. so it made no sense that he was charging me an extra $30 on top of the 127 I paid it was just an awful experience, and not to mention it was right before the holidays! NOT worth no 160!! I'm so upset and sick to my stomach how I was treated at this hotel. Other than JoJo helping me with the TVs, I literally am just so upset with how this whole situation went down and disgusted with how I was treated by them especially this JoJo kids trying to get loud with me in the AM, when all they are doing is stealing from you. It's not my fault that they did not receive information that I paid $127 and was told I could bring my service dog to their hotel, and I feel like I was being punished for something that was not my fault! It should have been favored by the hotel either way I was charged for it because they saw it in an email and bank statement and they still wouldn't favor, It's like none of them knew what was going on and they don't communicate, and i told them I wouldn't even have posted this had they just gave me $30 back. That is how cheap this hotel and every person that works here lives here, at this hotel and it felt like some weird stuff was going on as they were taking different cash deposits. Not to mention some of the women look let's just say riske and I wouldn't be surprised if they were running some type of ring through this hotel, definitely not trustworthy don't go here please do yourself a favor it's very very dangerous and disgusting and it's just not worth...

Do not stay here… I really wish I had names so I could be specific. Me and my husband stayed here one night just on business and coming right back him but I wanted to stay somewhere with a romantic vibe to the room which we got. The room seemed clean. However the tv remote and some of the lights did not work but maintenance came and fixed it in about 10 min. He was very friendly. So just wanted to start off with the only positive part of the visit. Now…. Babyyyy idk who the 2 front desk girls are but they are not friendly at all. When we went to check in, mind you I booked through Expedia and paid at the time I booked) the girl tells me I have to pay a $60 cash deposit which I thought was a city scam because I’ve NEVER heard that at a hotel. Once I give her the deposit she asks me do I have the card I booked the room in, I state yes and she tells me when the screen lights up to stick the card in…. So I look at the screen and I see $65.xx and I asked what it was for and she tells me the room and I told her I paid for it already and she asked was it through a third party and I said Expedia. She told me “they took their portion”…. I was thinking wth do you mean their portion. I wouldn’t have booked through them or got them envolved if I was just going to have to pay once I got here. She also stated “you will only pay once”. I checked my phone and I was charged twice like I knew I would be. I got quiet because I’m not the going back and forth type. I’m going to make a call and speaking with whoever is in charge. We get to the room and I call front desk looking for a customer service department or manager. She said one wasent there and would be there in the morning. The following morning we get up and go to check out and Cruella Deville was working today…. Very rude. We walk in and dosent greet us( neither did the first one) and with the most uninterested look on here face looks at us like we are bothering her for coming in. I tell her the situation and she ask my room number and with an attitude she said “that was refunded to your card” I said and my $60 “you getting that back” (with attitude) and throws a envelope with my name on it and tells me to sign it. I do she gives me my money and she looks down. I was standing there because at other hotels they have you sign a paper sometime and I didn’t know. When she looks back up and we are still standing there she says “y’all can have a good day” as to dismiss us. If you are nasty your self stay here because you will fit right in. I’ve got mixed feelings about this hotel. The amenities are different from anywhere I’ve stayed in the area within at least 100 miles, and such amenities range from a rain shower paired with massaging wall mounted sprayers in the shower, a mirror above the bed for some naughty fun, and even a window gazing directly into the shower from the main room for when you’re significant other wants to put on a shower show for you. The WiFi unfortunately won’t directly connect to any outside electronics you may bring for yourself(in my case anyway, maybe it won’t be an issue for others.). The room as a whole was pretty clean although I wouldn’t call it spotless. The air conditioner blows icicles and the heater feels like the pits of a fiery lake so adequate climate control is not an issue. I am however displeased with the fact that, while I have no issue with smoking rooms as a former smoker, there are burn marks in the comforter on the bed. The king sized bed is comfortable, but unfortunately only one side of the bed comes equipped with a place to charge your phone or other devices so depending on which side of the bed you sleep your device will be out of reach. Now, for the next subject at hand, this place screams unsafe. After only being here for two hours or so I’ve already been witness to a drug deal, as well as a domestic violence issue in progress. Loud beating on a door below me got me out of bed and to the widow where I was able to catch the above stated entertainment just before the man and woman that were having a very loud “disagreement” sped off before nearly hitting two parked cars. All in all I would say while this is an interesting room given its amenities clearly geared toward intimacy, renting for the night here isn’t worth the $130 it cost me. I’ve stayed in much MUCH nicer establishments...
