Dogtopia of Jacksonville at the Avenues — Attraction in Jacksonville

I could write for hours about how incredible the staff is here! Mt husband is deployed and I work in the ER for 12 hr shifts with a six year old to juggle and I have brought my dogs to pretty much every boarding/daycare place around Jax. NEVER ONCE HAVE THEY BEEN SO HAPPY SO WELL BEHAVED AT HOME (which is a godsend because at that point I am exhausted). The moment we pull into the parking lot they start to wiggle their whole bodies and cannot wait to get inside and play! They always look and smell so wonderful when I pick them up and I can tell both the dogs absolutely adore the staff (i usually have to walk with them to the dog entrance of any dog daycare to get them to be okay to leave me). The staff is beyond accommodating and works with my schedule and truly give my dogs so much love and attention I have noticed such an improvement in their overall happiness and behavior in just three sessions being here! They are constantly playing and only have them in a small area for meals and a small break, otherwise they are outside or inside playing ALL DAY. I check the video cameras and love seeing them so happy and socializing. I would recommend this location to ALL dog owners they truly go above and beyond in every way and have exceeded my expectations more than I am able to put into words. We have been going through a rough patch and not being able to be home as much as usual was too hard on my high energy dogs and now with Dogtopia I am not stressed or worried about them at all and they come home and completely pass out. ONE OF THE BEST PARTS is the affordability for the incredible care they receive. I have paid double or more at other places and they are put in kennels for long periods of time during the day but not at dogtopia! My only regret is not finding them sooner!! Anthony , Lilac, Jacob thank you for being so helpful and welcoming and the two dog experts i had on Saturday the 21st who came in early and stayed late you deserve the recognition for your work and assistance and I feel terrible I cannot remember your names. We only trust Dogtopia. Being new to Jacksonville we did a lot of research and tried out a few boarding places but there is nothing in JAX or the surrounding areas that compare to Dogtopia. The owners (Jay and Lynn) are the absolute best and they only hire the absolute best. The team Jay and Lynn have built is top-notch and most certainly what sets them apart. Your dog(s) will play all day (with a nap of course) AND you have the option to download the app to watch what they’re doing throughout the day. I’ve logged in from time to time to see the k-9 coaches blowing bubbles, throwing balls, having pool time in the outdoor area and my absolute favorite and most heart-melting moment after logging in is when I see a coach sitting with one of our pups providing one-on-one love. Pure love. Every employee adores dogs. The team sends photos via email of sweet moments and will promptly alert via phone if anything seems “off”... our oldest pup is just a big baby who would prefer to be lazy all day and our youngest pup is WIDE open. The Dogtopia team has been so patient and thorough throughout our many visits to learn WHO our dogs are and what works for them. They’ve done the same for me. We don’t have kids therefore our dogs are our kids and I’m what one would classify as a “helicopter” parent... Jay and Lynn have taken the time to get to know me and understand how, for lack of better words, paranoid I am. I promise that you won’t get this level of service anywhere. Being able to go out of town and have peace of mind (thanks to Dogtopia)...

Big news for our boy Tyson! 🐾❤️

Today at 2:00 we had our meet and greet at Dogtopia of Jacksonville Beach Boulevard (11300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL). It was a 20–30 minute evaluation with one of their awesome trained staff to see if Tyson would be a good fit for daycare.

Well… he passed with flying colors!! 🎉 So we’re now officially doggie daycare parents! 🥰

This is going to be so great for him to build his social skills (even though he’s already a professional door greeter 😂). We’ve decided his full name now needs to be Tyson Carlton Corcoran — because, well, it just fits! 🤭

He’ll get hours of safe socialization, exercise, learning, and the best part — FUN! 🐶💨

We’d been researching a few doggie daycare centers, but honestly, what completely sold us on Dogtopia was the people. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the happiest, friendliest staff.

Ms. Peggy, the owner, came right out to welcome us, and while Tyson was whisked away for his evaluation, she gave us a full tour — from the grooming room to the play and nap areas, to the feeding room (the only thing we didn’t see was her office… but I’m pretty sure her “office” is the whole center 😄).

She answered every question we had — and even a few we didn’t think to ask! It’s so clear how much she and her team truly love what they do.

We’re beyond happy knowing Tyson’s going to have a safe, loving, and fun place to play and learn. ❤️🐾
