Alright, buckle up, sport fans! It's time to talk about the one, the only, EverBank Stadium in sunny Jacksonville, Fla. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Is this stadium as great as Peyton Manning's forehead?" Well, let me tell you, it's even better!
First off, let's talk location. EverBank Stadium is nestled right in the heart of Jacksonville, which means you're never too far from a good time or a bad dad joke. And speaking of jokes, did you hear about Peyton Manning's bakery? He gives away turnovers. But don't worry, the only turnovers you'll see at EverBank are on the field, and they're always in favor of the Jaguars.
Now, onto the stadium itself. With a seating capacity that's bigger than my love for a well-manicured lawn, EverBank can hold over 67,000 cheering fans. And let me tell you, the atmosphere is as electric as my trusty old barbecue grill. The fans are as passionate as I am about a perfectly cooked steak, and they're not afraid to show it.
The amenities? Top-notch, just like Peyton's passing game. We're talking wide concourses, plenty of restrooms (because let's face it, those halftime bathroom breaks are crucial), and food options that'll make you want to tailgate every day of the week. And if you're feeling fancy, there are premium seating options that'll make you feel like the king of the castle – or at least the king of the recliner.
But the real MVP of EverBank Stadium has got to be the pools. Yes, you heard me right, pools! This place has swimming pools in the stadium. It's like they took my backyard and plopped it right in the middle of football heaven. You can soak up the sun, take a dip, and watch the game all at the same time. It's like Peyton Manning's play-calling – simply genius.
And let's not forget about Daily’s Place, the amphitheater that's attached to the stadium. It's the perfect spot to catch a concert or show before the big game. It's like the warm-up act to Peyton's touchdown dance – it gets you pumped and ready for the main event.
Now, I've been to my fair share of stadiums, and I've got to say, the view from every seat in EverBank is as clear as my vision before I needed these darn bifocals. There's not a bad seat in the house, which means you won't miss a single play – unless you're too busy laughing at my dad jokes.
Speaking of which, did you hear about the time Peyton Manning went to heaven? God showed him to his house, and it had a faded Colts flag in the window. God said, "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton." And Peyton replied, "I always knew I'd be a saint." Get it? Because he played for the Colts and... never mind.
In conclusion, EverBank Stadium is the place to be if you're a fan of football, fun, and family. It's got everything you could want in a stadium and more. So grab your jerseys, paint your faces, and get ready to cheer on the Jaguars in style. And remember, if Peyton Manning can handle being sacked, you can handle a little Florida heat at a football game.
So there you have it, folks, my review of EverBank Stadium. It's a touchdown in my book, and that's no joke – well, maybe just a little one. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go work on my spiral. I hear the Jaguars are looking for a new quarterback, and I've got just as many Super Bowl rings as Dan Marino. Too soon? Nah, it's never too soon for a dad...
Read moreThe only thing good I can say is the game was great! From the start this was a truly chaotic experience. I’ve been to several football games, baseball games, and hockey games in my life. I have never had such a terrible experience at any stadium or arena in my life. The parking was terrible. There were not enough signs pointing you where you needed to go. When you got there, there were no staff members guiding you to the proper place to park, so you just had to figure it out yourself. walking from the parking to the stadium felt very unsafe. Upon entering the stadium, there was zero direction on where to go to get to our seats. The signs were very unclear and we were not the only ones walking around aimlessly trying to figure out where to go. They were lacking in staff to assist and the staff you did find seem to have no clue where to direct you to go. we eventually found out where to go and made our way to our seats. The food selection was terrible in my opinion, and it didn’t taste any better. When you got online to buy your food, I was told if I wanted a drink I had to move to the next register. Which I did that, And they sold me a $12 bottle of water and ended up not charging me for the food because no one was communicating. Now I don’t know if the experience at our seats was just our section or if this was all across the stadium but it was terrible. The usher was completely unhelpful with finding our seats, so we needed to do it ourselves. They also did nothing to enforce the rules of the stadium and it was complete chaos in our section. People were definitely being overserved, quite drunk, and being quite aggressive. There were fights that broke out, people were just standing and congregating in the isles, and there was no security to be found, when, the fights broke out. Walking through the stadium to try to exit was also very unsafe. There was no security to be found anywhere, and there were multiple assaults that I witnessed with my own two eyes. There were no staff around and no one intervened to help. Walking back to our car again felt very unsafe as there were no cops or security of any kind. The parking situation that was chaotic getting in was even more chaotic getting out. We waited over 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. The game was excellent, my team won, but I will never go back to this stadium ever again! it is unsafe, chaotic, and everything is...
