I went here and bought several speakers, got my receipt and took the smaller items to my car. I got my dolly and went back in to get the rest. I had wheeled one out to the parking lot when the store employee came out, grabbed the dolly and wheeled it back in. He said there was something he needed to check first. He then went back the desk and said that there was an issue with the speakers and that they should not have been sold. I told him I have the receipt – they have already been paid for. He said he would refund my payment and I said that I did not want a refund and receipt states that all sales are final. He then started taking one of the speakers to the back. I tried to take the other one out but another person (manager / owner) came out and almost made me drop it, ripping my shirt in the process. He then proceeded to tell me that the speakers were not priced right and that I was trying to steal from them at the price I paid for them. I told him I paid the price they had marked on them and showed him my receipt. He said he didn’t care, and that they were priced incorrectly and my money would be refunded to my credit card. I asked him what he was going to do about tearing my shirt and he said I was lucky he did not beat my @$$ and he wasn’t doing anything for me. They then provided me a refund receipt and I left. I don't think touching a person or their property is appropriate. Neither is forcing someone to not take what they legally bought / paid for. Owner will respond with a story and say that I was not taking the correct speakers (even though model number matches receipt and what is on the speaker). He will also say I was stealing even though no refund receipt was provided at that time. He will also say he has security video of the event which I say - show it as it proves what happened and would also prove that the model of the speakers was correct. Definitely not good business practice (both in mistakes and how he...

Sensible Recycling Tech Chris came to my site and did some recycling work for me. The arrival was 2 hours past the appointment but it was free and I was in no rush. Chris even called to let me know he was running behind and set a new pick up time. Just a note, if you're on a tight schedule, they allow drop off's at their business location as well. Anyway, Chris arrived and was very friendly and professional. Filled some forms and got all the old equipment in the vehicle. I had over two dozen old hard drives shredded on site. I never received my certificate of destruction for the hard drives but I did see many of them go into the shredder. I'd be happy to let them take my old stuff again. Overall, excellent experience because I wasn't crunched for time and the need for hard drive destruction verification was...
Read moreGuys here are very personable. If you're at all into electronics or taking advantage of some discount hardware that would otherwise be very expensive, this is a great place to go. They're more than happy to let you wander around in the back and dig through their piles of trash to find gold, and they'll sell it back to you at usually reasonable prices. They'll also come pick up larger items like server racks for free!
Update: Their business model when it comes to the sale of the stuff they get for free from their clients has changed. They no longer have with you and sick to their eBay list price, which doesn't make sense. They should be under cutting themselves at least the eBay selling fee, and perhaps a bit more for the labor they didn't put in to list and item you found for them. They'd rather let you find good stuff for them, ask a price you probably wouldn't want to pay, and then list it on eBay anyway. I'll go back if they start dealing sensibly again, but until then I'll find my...
