WORST. HOTEL. EVER. To start, we arrived at 10:30pm and the front door was locked, no one in the lobby/ reception area. There was a sign that said the lobby closed at 11pm and after that would only open with an activated key card. A group of guests that HAD KEY CARDS started to form, as their cards didn't work to open the door as the sign claimed. The desk clerk, Destiny, finally came after a few minutes (I'm going to assume she was on a bathroom break) and let everyone in. She checked us in quickly and was very friendly. We asked where the ice machine was and Destiny informed us that THERE IS NO ICE MACHINE IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL. It was late, so we just wanted to get into bed right away. OUR ROOM WAS DISGUSTING! I CANNOT STATE THIS STRONGLY ENOUGH. The bedsheets had stains right where you would lay your head. The fridge had rust, stains, and dents all over it. Most of the drawers in the 1970's fashion kitchenette didn't align properly and the cabinets were empty of any cups, napkins, coffee maker/coffee, pretty much EVERYTHING you expect at any hotel. There WAS, however, a drawer full of snacks and urine on the crooked toilet seat, both leftover from someone's previous stay. Although there were folded towels and new toiletries put out, this room had not been properly cleaned and it showed. We left within minutes, walking past a big clump of hair in the hallway, and were offered a refund by Destiny, which we greatly appreciated. We ended up spending an extra $60 to stay at the Marriott across the street, which was beautiful and well worth it. We hope Destiny quits this dump and seeks better employment at the Marriott.

The only pleasant experience here was that the staff was friendly (front desk girls and housekeeping) and that it was fairly quiet at night while trying to sleep. My husband and I packed out our entire home the day we checked in, so we were beyond exhausted. Upon opening the door to our room, it was trashed. Looked like someone was still clearly living in there. It SMELLED also. Like stale cigarettes and dirty clothes, even though they advertise all non smoking rooms. We had to lug all of our stuff back downstairs and get another room. That room smelled like moldy cheese and the appliances were so dirty and completely rusted. The bathroom and floors were clean, but I didn't feel comfortable touching anything. We had guests in the elevator make comments about them seeing us in the parking lot with a car packed full of things. Huge red flag. We did not park our car in the parking lot while we were there because we were afraid people would steal our belongings. We parked in the neighborhood we just moved out of and took an uber to the hotel. The free breakfast they advertise is granola bars and packaged muffins. That's it. I would not stay here again. The staff we encountered were very friendly, but the rooms were dirty, the guests were sketchy, and I felt very uncomfortable.

Absolutely horrible place as only Tawanna was excellent. They moved us to another floor/room and it was absolutely appalling. Counters were filthy, mold, carpet was disgusting. The lights in the bedroom did not work and it had exposed wires which could have injured the children if they touched them. When it was brought up to the manager, Donna, she couldn’t care less. The only thing she cared about was the curtain rod that was knocked down in the previous room which when it fell hit my niece in the head. She also claimed she didn’t know about the dogs but Tawanna and the other employees knew about them at check in. I paid for 30 days and only stayed 7. They only credited me $290 instead of almost $1,000 which technically they charged me over $187 per night. I’ve been trying to speak with someone and they give me the run around. I never even received a detailed bill explaining why they were charging me this much. I will now be fighting the entire charge with my credit card company. I will also try to research the owner of this hotel and let them know as well. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of other hotels.

Since being in this hotel my experience has been okay not horrible and also not so pleasant either, with the staff and room conditions. I have been made aware that the staff member I made a complaint about no longer works here so look at God! The rooms can use some updating for sure (which is happening) the room I was in before was too noisy with the guests above it plus it smelled like mold or mildew but mold if you ask me! The room I am currently in has no heat I heard it conch out lol a few days after being in here, it took a minute for me to complain because it wasn’t cold outside as this is Jacksonville so the Fall/Winter’s here are not consistent as most States. When it did get cold though I didn’t want to have to complain about another thing! So I endured the cold room before lodging my first complaint for an about a week. The front desk clerk Naketria was present when I did, she did a maintenance sheet but didn’t offer to switch me to a new room or offer a discount immediately (I definitely thought about that). She at first also made it sound as if they no longer had a maintenance guy in my opinion. Then I questioned myself and said well maybe it’s the time of the day and she could have been stressed or frustrated with all the complaints not just from myself but other guests. She said it’ll probably be about two weeks before someone can get to it, me being modest I said that’s okay no worries although I was cold and desired sooner results. After staying in the hotel for a while and realizing that they are under staff being an empathetic being I had empathy and didn’t want to be a bother as I have made several complaints most got handled in an appropriate manner some not so much. It took a couple of days for me to realize that I couldn’t take it so I asked one of the other clerks for extra blankets I explained to him a tall dark slim man why I needed them and received them with no issue. After about a week I had to complain again as Jacksonville got real cool and the blankets only help when you’re up under them. Went down to get an update I let her feel my hands, her response was that she likes the cold so I said you’re darker than me you can take the heat and jokingly saying I wish I was your complexion. I asked if she can switch my room because she couldn’t give me an exact ETA on when someone will be able to get to my room after asking if they still had a maintenance guy for clarity, she confirmed he was still here. She showed me two on the third floor where I currently am, a room directly across the hall which was is not fully available as she had hoped, they are doing some updating and remodeling to it. The maintenance guy who I thought was gone “potentially” lol informed her the wrong part was shipped for the AC unit which created the delay nothing she can do about that! The other was located near a high traffic door which leads to the stairway. I definitely did not want to be bothered by the vibrations of that and/or sounds of the door leading to outside with people coming and going or people coming through the stairway being loud. It’s a hotel, people coming in from partying drunk being loud right not judging just being realistic. Those were the two available that day so she offered a space heater. I was hoping to receive right away or even that day as she made it sound by saying she was going to go and look for it now but the day went on and I slept in a cold room again. The next day after discovering there was no space heater after being told they had two in storage. I seen another room on the third floor, same issue with location, another corner room next to the stairway which leads to an outside door that’s actually louder than the other if you’re sensitive to sounds and vibrations can get annoying after a while. I actually slept on it for a day she allowed me hold the key so i observed the room throughout the night. Realized it was not a good match for my energy field. End result they ended up having to order a new part for the AC unit & got a discount on the room! Thank y’all for...

If I could give this hotel a 0 rating I would. Let's start this from the beginning. I booked my room for 6 nights over the phone. I specifically told the woman I booked with that 2 service dog(with all their documentation) will be staying with us. She said that's fine. When I received my confirmation email it states under reservation special requests "pets in room". The woman making my reservation was lovely. I called ahead of time to let the front desk know we would be arriving late, the young man at the desk said that's fine. Upon arrival, my boyfriend checked in. I am a disabled veteran and was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. I had handed him all of the dogs information to show the front desk if they wanted to see proof. When my boyfriend came back to the car he said that he was not even asked about the dogs. NUMBER ONE flag, lack there of attention to detail. I will come back to this statement later. We go to the room, it looks pretty decent. We unpack. My boyfriend had left for the store. I go down stairs to get a kitchen package and come back to the room. I must note, I have a spinal injury and nerve damage so walking can be an issue for me at times. I try to decrease the amount of walking I have to do to avoid pain. I pulled out the sofa mattress and there was what seemed to have been dirt or crumbs all over it. Which lead me to believe the room was poorly cleaned. I inspect the room further. There is a sock and garbage behind/under the sofa from what appears to have been a previous guest. I open my bedding and there is a black hair in the sheets. I look in the bathroom and find a black hair in the bath tub. At this point I am too exhausted to pack and move to another room so I cleaned what I could. I always try not to call the front desk because I know it can be difficult working the front at night. So I called, I had asked for a sheet for the pull out. The gentleman at the desk said to just give him a few minutes. Mind you it is 10:45pm. I waited 30 minutes trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. So I go down stairs, ask the woman in the laundry facility for a sheet. She was very pleasant. Then I see the front desk and he is ON HIS PHONE! I said you know what tomorrow is another day just go shower and go to sleep. I go to turn on the shower and the head is leaking so badly the water was going over the curtain rod onto a towel that I eventually had to put down. The bottom faucet still had water coming out of it and it would not drain while the water was running. I wake up around 7am, head down to the lobby for the grab and go. It is as described, grab and go, there was oatmeal which was more than I expected. I had an issue with my key so I had to go back down to the desk to get a new one. The girl who had helped me was very nice to me, but ver unprofessional towards her coworker. You want to speak in a rude manner to coworkers it is best to not do that in front of paying guests. Now to my red flag I mentioned earlier. Throughout the day my dogs barked twice. Once because the annual fire alarm was being inspected and second when a food delivery came to my door. I was in the room all day. I had left the room around 6pm to go to dinner and pick some things up with my boyfriend. By 8:43pm I had 2 missed calls from the hotel saying my dogs have been constantly barking and disturbing the other guests. Which is a very odd behavior for my dogs. They bark when the door is knocked or loud noises In front of the door. Also that he was unaware that I had dogs in the room and I would need to come to the desk to discuss the additional charges for having them in the room. This is the same gentleman that check us in the night prior. BINGO, we don't read our reservation notes from corporate.. FANTASTIC. So my boyfriend and I leave where we are at and come straight back to the hotel because regardless, I never like to cause problems. We get to the lobby and I say to the front desk, I called you three times you didn't pick up. He had one ear bud in his ear. He proceeds to tell us that we...

Paid $205 for 4 days/3 nights. This place has so much potential. The rooms are huge and have a pull out bed along with the regular bed. They also have a kitchen that includes a dishwasher, stove, sink, microwave, and fridge. There were plenty of cabinet space. The shower was big I loved it! We rented out two rooms and I will say, both rooms were pretty good.

When we first came to book, they let us know there was a $100 refundable deposit which is fine I expected it since most hotels have a deposit but it does not say this online so if you book online, keep in mind when you get to the location, have an extra $100. The lady who checked us in was super nice and understanding. We had to come here to evacuate hurricane Helene so it was 4 of us in one room and a 20 year old family member in another room. I guess the age limit to book a room has went up from 18 years old because he could not book his own room, we had to have my boyfriend book it under his name but not at all the front desks fault, they were super understanding and even attempted to update their website to show this information especially since there were people coming to get away from the hurricane and everything else was booked up Or $700 for a couple nights. The same lady worked the front desk our whole stay and always greeted us.

When we paid for our rooms and went up to bring our suitcases in, we walked in on someone staying in the room. They overbooked us. We went back downstairs to let them know someone was in the room and she quickly changed us to a different one. This new room reeked of wet dog and workers feet. Got some odor eliminator and it kinda helped. The room was clean other than the smell. There were roaches so we had to keep our opened food in zip lock bags or the fridge. If you’re staying here, when you leave, do not bring your bags back into your home without properly bombing your items with roach sprays.

There were kids screaming all hours of the night, music blasting out of one of the rooms, slamming doors all day and night, kids running up and down the hall way, and weird characters hanging around outside in the dark yet we got a noise complaint from the 20 year olds room who has sleep apnea and was asleep 97% of this trip lol.

You have to take your own trash and they don’t do room service for anything under 7 days. (A plus for us, we didn’t want to be bothered as we watched the loss of our hometown unfold.) pots and pans cost extra. Cooking utensils cost extra as well. For the price of all of those together, we just had Walmart deliver a cheap set for under $15. There are different cost for “faster” Wi-Fi. There is no “faster” Wi-Fi btw. There’s only one speed so don’t waste your money. The Wi-Fi didn’t work half the time anyways. The pool is closed and seems to have been closed for a very long time. The side doors never worked with the keys a lot of the time they were propped open by the mystery guest who hang around in the parking lot. There is no breakfast either. The location is good, everything is about 5-10 minutes away; Walmart, restaurants, gas stations, etc.

When I said this place has potential, I really meant it. A lot of the negatives (and there aren’t really a lot) can be fixed with a little maintenance and...
