This review is for the spa part, yoga alone I give 5 stars. I’ve come to two yoga classes here and they were amazing. Facility is really lovely. I’ve been to One regular and one hot yoga. Both teachers were just the right balance for whatever level you are at. In considering joining the annual wellness program, I decided to try a massage before committing. I researched all the massage options online and went with the tru deep therapeutic massage. The room was cool with the color block wall and warmth but for the massage itself, I was let down here. The masseuse was super sweet and full of light. Personality A+. As for the massage, I felt like there was no deep tissue massage work at all. No trigger points. Truly not as advertised as far as the massage went. I even researched myofascial massage before booking out of curiosity and can’t say I felt any of those specific techniques either. I workout 4-5 times a week and know when my body needs a good deep tissue massage and was truly hoping for a one stop shop close to home. I asked for more pressure on my back once we got there, and even then it just was not a deep tissue massage. The table also did not have a face cradle so when face down, my neck became even stiffer turning it side to side or finally resting it straight on my chin. I left with more neck pain than I arrived with. I emailed the owner directly before posting this, providing my honest feedback as to what was advertised and asked if there were other masseuses to try in hopes of still finding the perfect masseuse fit for me there. It’s been a week and no response. If you want a nice relaxing massage, this might be just right for you but if you need more, I’d...
Read moreI love Tru Nature. Bryant has transformed the studio in the past year! There is a wide variety of classes ranging from slow flow and yin yoga to fast paced hot yoga classes and zumba. Everyone will find something they will enjoy. There are so many exceptional teachers that I end up taking 5-7 classes/week. I highly recommend Missy's classes if you want to understand your body and explore what it is capable of. Her approach is unique and you will be coming back for more ;) Her wisdom and beauty are radiant. Aly's classes are absolutely beautiful, full of twists and challenging sequences. I feel like the flow turns into a dance during her class. Her energy is amazing! Lindsey's hot vinyasa yoga class fills up quickly so plan ahead if you want to sweat and release all tension. Phoebe knows how to motivate people to do their best. Her classes are great for core. If you are curious about chakras you would love Heather's Thursday class. Every week we go through a different chakra as Heather shares her knowledge - I learn something new every class. Chrissy has an amazing sense of humor and playful approach! Her yin class is a must! Paola offers morning classes and has outstanding expertise and energy! I especially love her vinyasa to yin class. Arti has immense knowledge on yoga. You will benefit greatly from learning proper alignment of each pose. There are many more amazing teachers and great classes! I have been coming to the studio for the past 3 years and I love seeing it...
Read moreI paid $140 online for a massage. About two hours before the appointment Alyson called to say she got in a car accident so needed to cancel. I then texted, emailed, called and left messages several times to reschedule. Finally after a few weeks I got Alyson on the phone and I rescheduled. The morning of my appointment Alyson called to say she fell in the shower and broker her shoulder. I asked her to refund my credit card the $140 and I looked forward to coming back once her shoulder was better. She said she would do the refund right then. That was a couple weeks ago. Still no refund. I've been leaving messages, texting, etc. I am in shock because Alyson specifically was referred to me by my neighbor. I wish I would have read the other review before putting my credit card into their website. Clearly they do not have someone who can give massages yet take people's money. Now I have to go through my bank to report them, etc., which is SUPER annoying and time consuming. Luckily I saved her voice mail messages, texts, etc. DO NOT put your credit card into their website. PS: I spend a TON of money on massages, reiki, yoga etc. They just lost a really...
