This is a good place for a quick hassle free soak. Bring a towel and a bottle of water and you're set (or they'll provide).

This is no fancy hoity-toity facility with marble and tiled rooms, just a locally run gritty BUT CLEAN bath house.

I've never paid for any of their other services, so I can't comment on those. But the tubs release lava water from the bowls of the earth, which you mix with cold spring water to get the right temp. I can handle about 107° for 10 minutes, then I add more cold to about 99° for the rest of my hour (or half hour). The signs warn you not to go above 104° for safety. My Garmin watch has a built-in thermometer, that's how I know the temps I'm running.

When you're done, you can not rinse and walk out with the minerals still in your pours (my personal suggestion) or rinse off with city water that's above the tub from a shower spigot.

The staff is nice and kind so I like to leave a tip (you don't have to). There are trinkets and stuff to buy as well.

I opened up this review by stating its "quick". What I mean is you pull up, walk in, and if they've got openings you're in. You undress and hang your clothes right at the tub. No separate changing rooms, no lockers, no walking across the campus, no keys to return. HOWEVER... it is up in Jemez Springs, which doesn't make it literally "quick". But there's nothing quite like a micro road trip for a good hot soak that doesn't involve hiking. You can make a day out of it with local food and take the...

My friend and I reserved the day before so we could get tubs side by side. I've never been to a hot springs where you can control the heat of your pool and have the privacy of this place. There are privacy curtains to block the tub from the other units and a curtain that can be pulled between the two tubs. Just a note for people who value privacy: It's best to go with someone you're comfortable with since the curtains are good but not the best as they blow with breeze from the windows.

We were the first there so it was quiet. They have calming music playing overhead but not too loud. They also have windows open and fans running to keep things from overheating or being stuffy. The mineral soak helped with all my leg pain from extensive hiking and made my skin soft. The tubs are scrubbed and sanitized after every use so it is clean for each guest. Wonderful service from the employees and a...

Ended up here since Giggling Springs was closed. I hadn't considered this place because they were more expensive than the other springs I had seen in the area ($12 for 25mins). But, that ended up being the perfect amt of time for me!

I enjoyed that you get your own private curtained off room w/your own tub that you control the water temp of. You can also go bathing or birthday suit since they drain and disinfect every tub after each use.

I also like that this place is historic and has the original spring waters (they have the mineral contents of the water posted at the entrance). It was easily accessible, the attendants were nice and the facilities were clean.

Highly recommend a stop here for a soak...

This was a special experience on our trip! We drove over from Santa Fe (about 1.5 hours) and the drive was just incredible. When we arrived, the staff was professional and friendly, and the experience was relaxing. I forgot to bring masks (which they told me to bring when I booked), and they graciously sold me two. We had a soak and herbal wrap. This was our first time with services like this, but we enjoyed the experience. I read online that the bath house proceeds support the local community, which made me feel even better about indulging.
