My husband and I recently stayed the weekend in the cottage and absolutely loved it! The grounds are lovely and feel secluded, even though it’s situated in the heart of Jemez Springs. The cottage was beautiful and pristine, and has a fridge/freezer, microwave, grill, bowls, plates, mugs, etc. There was even a bag of organic Starbucks coffee, assorted teas, and a pint of organic half & half in the fridge! Since the checkout time wasn’t until 11:00, we had plenty of time to laze around enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the sound of the river. I walked over to the bakery just across the street at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning to get a breakfast burrito for hubs and baked oatmeal w/ yogurt & berries for myself. (Be sure to get there right when they open; I was the first one there, and the line was out the door within minutes.) We enjoyed our breakfast at the table just outside the cottage and spent the rest of the morning playing Scrabble and enjoying our surroundings. If you need a peaceful, relaxing retreat, this is the...

It is wonderfully landscaped, despite the lack of rain, and having access to the river/stream at the back of the property was a welcome treat considering the dryness everywhere else. We also made good use of the grill and the outdoor patio for our meals. I would very strong recommend Casa Blanca to anyone who wants to stay in the Jemez area. Aside from its aesthetic perfection it is located right in the middle of Jemez Springs, with the cute little cafes and bars just a few steps away. Seriously folks, this place is...
