We drove up from Indiana to see lady liberty on a Saturday. Unfortunately we didn’t know you had to purchase tickets in advance to get the pedestal and crown tour. The crown tour was not available due to some construction and I wasn’t thrilled that you couldn’t purchase same day tickets to get on the pedestal considering I should have googled all that in advance.
