Fairbanks Library — Attraction in Jersey Village

I went the other day and an old lady curly black hair was so rude , I was trying to print a paper and I was doing it on my phone and when I didn’t even asked for help and I was in the process of doing it she looks over my phone and she’s like “your screen is dark I won’t help you like that I can’t see” does she not know what a privacy screen protector is ? Like cmon and then she was counting me the time “you have 10 mins, 5mins” like dude I’m saying I’m almost done I know it was closing time but printing the paper literally takes 1 min but I was clicking on the pdf I wanted to print but it wasn’t accepting the file and this lady comes with “you’re doing it wrong” like no lady the problem it wasn’t accepting the file , we could’ve emailed the paper to them but know it takes “20 mins to arrive to their computer” The library is really nice I like it but the problem was her...

It's a good library, they have plenty of computers, good selection of books and a kids area with plenty of toys. However, it is not a place to enjoy some quiet. You have adults talking on the phone in speaker mode, people using the computers on full blast, and kids screaming in the play area. The staff will not correct anyone if they are being too loud, so don't expect it. I suggest that if you want to borrow books here, search the website if they have it and put it on hold. If you have kids, they will enjoy spending time here for sure. But for those that would just like to enjoy a quiet place to read....

While I do love the ease of access to this Library, there is not a lot for the younger kids to do here. Other than a colorful rug and a couple of mini tables and chairs, there's also a spotlight bookshelf and a bin of board books. I do really like their toddler and preschool story times. Jennifer is spunky and has lots energy for the kiddos. There is also a good selection of books for sale in the small corridor thanks to Friends of the Library. Clean bathrooms which is always appreciated. Layout of library is easy to maneuver and find what you need. Easy and convenient self...
