I dearly love this park! Truly an unexpected gem in this small town. This is a public space that really shows off a commitment to welcoming and supporting many diverse interests, and by extention- people. There's a modern, and impressively technical skate park that includes thoughtful touches like a "bulit-to-skate-on" picnic table feature. This appeals to the indelible "skate and DESTROY" creedo so important to the history of the sport, and no doubt saves the parks many "built-to-picnic-on" tables. I could go on and on about this wonderful area but to but suffice to say from Field sports to mountain biking to hiking walking and jogging this place has it all and it's right around the corner.
