As someone who really loves Asian cuisine I am really really happy with what I have gotten so far.
In details I have had the Plant Power bowl and it is amazing. Starting with the rice. No complaints at all. Perfectly cooked. Easy to pick up with chopsticks. The tofu is nice and soft, which is a nice change from other tofu I have tried, which are usually too firm. The green onions/scallions are cut very consistently and look amazing. The cucumbers are on the thinner side, which is perfect IMO. Not too overwhelming texture or flavor as a result. The Avocado is delicious with a very consistent cut. The sauce is very flavorful with a hint of heat. The carrots are shredded and easy to eat. And the crumbs. Idk what they are called, or made of. I just know they are probably my most favorite part of the bowl. Over all. I absolutely love this bowl. And the portion size isn't overwhelming at all (which is an issue with most places).
On to the bubble tea. Oolong passion fruit tea with strawberry boba? I could drink that every day for the rest of my life. Especially since the boba isn't over sweet or firm.
As a side note for the owner, SC introduced me to this place. ♥️♥️ I went 3...
Read moreAnother great restaurant in Johnson City. Food is absolutely fresh and delicious. Saw an tv ad the other night and we were right around the corner today so we stopped in to check this place out. Great vibe when you walk in, take a minute to look around and see all the great food offerings they have. We ordered the Chicken Karaage with Honey/teriyaki, crab rangoons, shrimp tempura roll, California roll, philadelphia roll and bubble tea. Everything was fresh and very delicious, this place was very clean and the service was great and the prices are very reasonable. Glad to see a unique style restaurant come to JC. Lots to chose from on the menu, they do have a drive up, which got busy while we were there. May sound a bit weird but the bubble tea was very good. Not sure, come on in and give it a try, it will really surprise you,(in a good way). We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu, and of...
Read moreAdorable "hole in the wall" place with delicious options!! We tried a little bit of everything and we were not disappointed. For our starters the takoyaki was perfectly creamy on the inside, and the crab Rangoon had huge chunks of crab. We tried their taiwan on milk tea (normal and a less sweet) and they were great. You could actually taste the tea and it wasn't just sugar overload. The boba were bouncy and chewy!! For our entrees we tried the taiwan on roll and the crispy Inari roll, which were both well made and super tasty. Overall the staff were super kind and the place was very clean. Portions and pricing were spot on as well. A woman who I believe was the owner also came by each table to make sure the food was good, as well as took our trays for us. We will...
