I would like to say .. if the HOLLYWOOD CASINO is taking these same pple to the new CASINO it’s gonna still look as it does now. Customer service is NOT favorable here, it’s supposed to be the” the MORE they know u the better the service “ NOOO it the more they know u, the worse you’re treated.. None are treated nearly the same. Let’s just say I miss the old host “Rose” she was amazing I truly Think if she was to have trained the HOST before she left, the turnout will be better among seasoned players or any common player she treated them all the same! There was one host (ROSE & DANIELL) that came close to treating others as she did and that was Danielle, but she’s also gone!!GO FIGURE …🤭 Inside the casino, the service is DRAB, flat..it feels like HARD WORK WITH LOW WAGE & NO incentives or tip, no matter how much you try to have the most FUN while one is winning/loosing MOST of the dealers think they own the place make their own rules. DEALERS are rude with no compassion. What are they trying them to be!!!🚨speak to u any type of way with no apologies 🤦🏾♀️They Do what they want to do. Customer service is Definitely NOT FIRST or their priority., and By all means don’t mention anything to the upper floor management With the exception of maybe four staff members of the elite staff like (Scott’s/great/ Landon as well) (there are exceptional HOST as well like George & Mervet just name a couple) great floor staff. such as Len Bruton(Fun guy all the time and fate)? And Rae(The female duo floor staff) Shaking my head to the rest!
IF this working staff is who they are taking to the new casino, I feel for their future of the new building.. word the Of mouth spreads. i’m sure they think the customers are parasites as they have secret or past discussions about us in meetings you could tell by the way you’re treated by the next person or HOST or supervisor dealers .. so if you’re looking to have a good time unless things change, this is not the place. YET!!
When you as a player has earned the title of Owner on your And you are still treated like an advantage player And there is a lot yet to be said for accommodations! If you are looking to have fun, keep looking😔 You are often told to consult upper management (that has even become a chore)or your host in doing so nothing gets done. It’s always just a Band-Aid something just too smooth you over pretty much to get you out of their faces having a choice between them and Harris‘s Casino pick the ladder. I have visited there (Casino) in Aurora and it is truly much more fun less uptight food is not as great there but customer service is a plus plus plus over this one I’ll give aurora Hollywood and 8+✨ out of 10. I give Joliet HOLLYWOOD casino a 3⭐️
Plz don’t get me wrong I’ve had a bit of fun at times but it idk of any place.. that treats a Gold card/black card holder like a regular card holder such as this for example who should get what get what well answer this questions
Owner( top tier ) or Advantage( lowest tier) Who should get what is the question
👀Hotel Room ?? Suites vrs regular room?? (Owner or advantage 👀Food $40 voucher vrs $$15-$20 ?? (Owner or advantage) 👀Gift cards-trips -invitation $40 vrs $20 Owner or advantage 🗣️Answer how u fit in because personally being an “O” with the treatment of Advantage most time!!🗣️SPEAKS VOLUME!! I personally hope the new place brings New and better vibes Signed Disappointing

Read moreWow. I’m so sorry that the new casino is such a flop. I went to try the new Hollywood assuming the 96% negative reviews since the new location opened were simply from the usual crowd of ppl mad that they lost. But after going and then actually reading the reviews, I sadly have to agree with just about every one of them. From the countless reviews talking about zero line hits to the many ppl finding the parking garage lousy - even the atm fee and ease of cashing out complaints are seemingly 100% valid. It’s a shame. Hollywood casino was my favorite before. The art deco vibe, unique layout and vintage space, beautiful location, sounds of happy people, jackpot announcements and overall excitement around Hollywood are all 100% gone. Now it’s a sterile, cold, generic smaller knock off (in appearance) of Hard Rock or Wind Creek - with the crowd no longer seeming happy - now it’s blank, frustrated or sad expressions all around. Never saw anyone win anything. Similar to how the former Hollywood was the past few months - no one seems to be enjoying themselves. The old Hollywood had regular winners I’d witness (or be, if lucky) all the time. Now Hollywood has lost its charm, player confidence, and…soul. There’s really no need for a repeat visit. They made their new intentions loud and clear. I understand that the cost of the move and construction must be recouped, but to obviously change your decade long reputation of being one of the top casinos in Illinois over this? I know it’s mandatory to reply that gaming regulations and standards are vigorously enforced and monitored to maintain fair industry practice - but players aren’t idiots. When you change that much ppl are going to notice. And they are, based on the reviews. You’re supposed to hide the terrible rtp behind modest winnings and positive word of mouth. At the current rate your new location will fail, sadly. I’m sorry to say it as a fan of Hollywood for many years - but how things are now - you know it, players know it, and soon everyone will know it as word of mouth and the onslaught of terrible reviews continue. Don’t worry about me - I’m just one person. It would take several hundred dollars free play to even get me to consider the hour drive again. But it seems I’m far from alone. I’d worry about salvaging Hollywood’s good name and long earned reputation. I know this review is harsh, but it’s not as harsh as nearly all of the recent ones I’ve read - and that’s something that will really make or break the new location. I’m sincerely hoping things turn around as I really hate parting with Hollywood and will always hold out hope that they can return to their former glory. And not fade away. I really do wish you the best of luck and hope some day I will see any reason to return. But I do thank you for all the fond memories over the years. I’ll never...
Read moreTrying to get there is confusing. We were excited to go see it and have a little fun. I thought maybe they would be a little looser at first to draw people in to the new location. I was wrong, it seems even tighter than the old one, probably to pay off the 159 million that they spent on it. The signs for the garage were confusing. There were limited handicap spaces. We parked farther away as did a bunch of other seniors that had wheelchairs, rollators, canes, etc. Only one of the three elevators was working. You sit there for like 20 minutes just to get on it. Anyone who wasn’t with a handicap person left to find a stairwell. You get off the elevator and head towards the entrance where there are modern wooden walls that are angled that I really liked. Then you get onto the casino floor and I was disappointed with the decor. It was nothing special. If you stop to get yourself a soda, The cups are much smaller. We were looking for someone to watch my machine so my husband could push me to the restroom. Couldn’t find a soul. I couldn’t push myself so I grabbed my cane and headed there 20 steps at a time because I couldn’t make it longer. I finally made it and came to the sink to wash my hands next to a lady I was chatting with and no hand dryers on the wall. They are on each sink which is fine except the whole row of dryers did not work. We had to use another sink bay to dry our hands. It took me forever to get back. If you are disabled, it’s very difficult to navigate through the machines. Use the main rows because the others are very tight. They do have a large number of new machines. Didn’t see anyone winning and we made it around before we left thoroughly disgusted. Giadas restaurant was open and two people were going in but didn’t see anyone else inside. There is a pizza place that wasn’t open and a bakery that wasn’t open, either. The bakery sells coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and ice cream. $7 for an ice cream bar. There is no buffet. Didn’t see anyone in the high limits room or the baccarat area while we were there. Getting out of the garage is confusing, as well. It looks like a bunch of higher ups around but didn’t see the cleaning people, drink girls, slot techs, etc. I can tell you I was so aggravated. We will definitely not be returning. I’d rather drive farther away and hit Harrahs or go down south to another. Sorry Hollywood, the old one was so much better decor and all. I don’t know how long it will take to pay off the hefty price tag but, in my opinion, it...
