Hollywood Casino — Attraction in Joliet

I previously left a truthful negative review about my experience with Hollywood casino in Joliet. Last week I went to the M resorts which is a Penn Play property in Vegas. The pit at the M asked me why I was permanently banned from Hollywood in Joliet. I told him I wasn’t and he assured me that I was. The facts of this matter are that I accidentally put a ticket in a machine that already had $40 in it. I paid the money back within 24 hours after my host contacted me and weeks later I was told that I have a 90 day ban from the property. I left an honest review of Hollywood and have not been there since. The fact that they permanently banned me solidified my opinion that some of the people making some of the decisions should not be. A customer should be able to tell their experience without the fear of retaliation from the company. Doing better as a company isn’t banning top tier customers for a single minor infraction. That’s a terrible business plan. I have been going here for 20 years! Never had 1 issue. I lost $17,000 in this location just in 2023. I believe if I was not black they wouldn’t have even contacted me about the $40 let alone ban me from the location. I have sent emails to their upper management and I’m going to continue to try to correspond with senior leadership. I probably can’t facilitate a major change at such a large corporation but I’d like to help prevent this from happening to someone else just because of their race or identity. My opinion: Walk on eggshells at Hollywood if you are a minority and if you make a single mistake they will ban you. There have been truck drivers posting that they don't have truck parking. They do, but pay close attention to the signs. I passed up the truck entrance by a few feet and had to back into the parking (There was a very thick fog that morning.) Also, it isn't very clear at night as to where the truck parking lot ends. The signs are small, and the lighting is poor. Last night, I parked at the corner amongst the trucks. Today, the security guard banged on my door and told me I was in the wrong lot (I had to park further to the corner.) Sorry Gaming establishment!! Dirty hotel accommodation's!! The food is way below quality!! The Staff in the casino is some of the worst I've seen in interaction with guest!!!

I played downstairs for more than 9hrs and not 1 time was I asked if I would like a cocktail!!

Had an issues with a promotion that was going on had what I needed to take advantage of my offer but they worked hard and in conjunction with each department not to honor them.
