I just attended the JesseWhitley, Lori Morgan and Alabama. Those tickets were purchased by Karen Baker for 140.00 each under the understanding they were purchased for the handicapped section. My ticket was Section A Row 2 Seats 35 & 36. My sister in law bought my friends ticket as Karen fell and broke her back. When I got there we had to park and ride the bus wasn’t allowed to park in handicap parking even though I have CHF and can not walk very far and had the credentials stating that. After we got inside we were told there was an elevator that would take me to my seats. Then that elevator was broken. My seats were excellent seats until the front row was happy enough and stood up blocking the stage. I ask nicely if they would sit down I couldn’t see and couldn’t stand because of my health. One girl sit down the two more stood up. When I spoke to them one told me it wasn’t her problem. I could not take anymore disrespect and when I ask 3 different staffers to get them to sit down they told me no they couldn’t do it. I ask one staffer none of the above help me get back up the steps which took 4 try’s and another young man I did not know stayed patient with me and helped me. Another gave me a chair so I didn’t pass out. I have been to two concerts there, one being Alabama and concerts in St Louis, Memphis, Metropolis and I have. NEVER been treated this way if this is the way your venue treats elderly, disabled citizens.then shame on you. I could have stayed home and see them on tv. I was so overwrought it took days to adjust. Please don’t let this happen to another elderly person have to go through this again. By the way when my sister did that at other concerts she was made to sit down or leave. . I was looking forward to some peace as I had a niece pass away at 41 earlier that week. I just had to get this off my chest. I’ll...
Read moreThis review deals with concerts in the arena. Nothing else. It's great having a designated seat for a concert. The concert sounded good overall and most if not all seats will have a descent view. One problem we ran into though is the arena has multiple stations to sell beverages such as beer but some of the stations have no good line formation for those waiting for beer. So if you sit on the first few rows of seats on the upper level some of the beer lines go right in front of you and you can't see the stage of the artist playing. We sat in section NN which is usually dead center of the stage on the other side of the arena. People stood in front of us off and on for the first 45 minutes of a concert so we couldn't even see the stage and band. We had to finally tell a arena worker and had them sit in our seats actually to see our blocked view. Other attendees in our area literally yelled to tell people to move; we can't see. It was like being in a movie theater trying to watch a movie when people are just standing up in front of you. After telling a worker I think they did something though because the line was no longer in our way. They just need a real solution to solve the line issue...
Read moreSon graduated here this year. Daughter has graduated here as well as others we have attended. Be prepared: you cannot take a purse in, of course no weapons, and other things I can't remember. You will walk through a detector. This is in place for our safety and I do appreciate it. Plenty of security. Very kind and helpful staff. Easy access for handicap from parking to getting inside to seating. I do wish that the audience was asked to take their talking outside and mandated it though. I tried to video the part of my son walking. They ruined it with their loud obnoxious talking 2 rows behind. People in the row directly behind had enough of them as they talked loudly the ENTIRE time and asked them kindly to please keep their voices down. A man spoke up from the loud row and said, "We are a loud family." And they all only got louder. This is a once in a lifetime for us all, and they ruined the experience with...
