Chin Chin Express — Restaurant in Jonesboro

Customer service is horrible and not concerned with health violations. I ordered online and when I arrived I was told another customer had picked up my order and they would make a fresh order for me. In meantime customer who had my order came back to store and stated they had given him the wrong order. The cashier placed that order ( mine originally) in a chair behind station. Once she got his order she picked up my originally order and went to the kitchen. She was visible to me the entire time. She replaced the bag and brought SAME food out to me. I told her I would not accept because the food had been handled by a third party outside of the restaurant. She tried to convince me the food had not been tampered with. She must have special powers. Anyhow I told her I wanted a fresh order and she said no. I ask for manager and she stated there was not one available. Thankfully I had not paid for the food. Best Chinese food in Jonesboro, AR. More people should know about this place because I haven't had good Chinese since I left Mobile, AL a year ago. Usually, I get Chinese from China Buffet, either at the buffet or delivery, and it's cold and subpar.

I was so surprised when I got some take-out lunch at Chin Chin Express because of how fresh, delicious, and flavorful it was. I've been so used to the Chinese around here being unflavorful, where you're tempted to use soysauce or salt or don't get hardly any of the brown sauce in the dish.

So I ordered the beef with broccoli and it came hot with plenty of the brown sauce it's cooked in and it's actually beef. I hightly suspect the other Chinese restaurants are swapping pork with beef, because that's what it tastes like.

Great food with friendly service! Tasty, comfort Chinese food. Egg drop soup, General Tao's, Mongolian Beef, Donuts, egg rolls! I'm not sure about some of the reviews being so negative. This place was some of the best Chinese food we have ever had. Everyone can have an off day, whether it be service or quality. On the other hand, many customers are too hard to please, and their expectations are unrealistic. These complainers are the same people who will pay $10 for a Starbucks (nasty coffee) and brag all day about Lowe's and Publix but never call them out on their lack of service and quality.
