It's really pretty on the river but the parking is horrible. U have to park about a mile away, then walk through a long hot trail to get to the water. Most of the time it's over crowded. I've gone 3 times bow but after yesterday I'll never go back again. The walking back & forth having to carry all ur stuff back & forth then having to deal with so many people ruined it for me. Most of the people are cool then u have some that don't respect ur space. I'll stick to the beaches. And please be careful where u park cause u will come out to see ur car being towed if u park in the wrong place, they won't even let u unload closer to the river at all.

Saturday and Sunday very crowded. River is not to deep. Good for childrens. Note. No parking and no restrooms. If you park on the street, police is going to give you a traffic ticket.

We just came Back from there it was closing and a park ranger by the name of "ryan", he wouldn't say his last name or give us his badge number. He walked up on us and another group really fast as if he was going to try to put hands on us, saying if we entered he would give is a 200 dollar ticket. My hisband didn't hear him and said,"What did you say?" And he said" if you go In there I have a ticket for you, in fact do you want a ticket I got one with your name on it right now " Ah we weren't even in the park so how could he give us a ticket and he walked up on us really fast as we were leaving and said we ran up on him and threatened him!! Omg it was so ridiculous as we were leaving he kept agitating my husband saying things to try to get a reaction out of him, probably to entice a physical altercation,. He followed us out and then said he called the cops on is. As I watched him video tape us I said really loud were not trying to argue with him and he said I was threatening him as well. Which I wasnt. We didn't know if we should leave or what because he said he had our vehicle number. He was describing my husband to someone on his phone, so we called 911 as well due to the fact he was the aggressive one. Come to find out he never called no one and was simply lying pretending to talk to someone on his phone. The 911 dispatch said just leave because there were no calls We seen some sheriffs on the way out and spoke to them and they confirmed as well there were no call made!

Total jerk with no common sense! Company's really need to watch who they hire!

And this is for you "ryan" learn some customer service skills or find a job parking cars! You clearly don't have what it takes to work...

Really cool place. Especially for kids, the water is not deep nor cold. It gets warm to the point that you dont want to get out the water. We had a blast. Time pases by fast!!! Just be aware that it gets crowded!!! Good thing rangers are checking constantly to make sure people dont have loud music or throwing trash they even ask you if you need trash bags. This is a PLUS to keep that place clean. Even though irresponsible drunk people do throw beer glass bottles into the water because we found a lot of pieces of glass in the water. This is the only thing that had...
