I am beyond disgusted with the experience this location continues to provide. I would rather drive the two exhausting hours to Anaheim—on an empty stomach, in traffic, and in the heat—than ever subject myself to the absolute chaos and neglect I’ve encountered here again.
This wasn’t a one-time fluke. This was my second, exhausting, deeply disappointing attempt to give this place the benefit of the doubt. And somehow, it was worse.
The first time, we were disrespected by staff who treated us like we were the problem—after serving us food with a hair in it. And not just any hair. A long, coarse strand that didn’t match my texture, color, or even anything remotely close. When I brought it up, instead of resolving the issue, the staff interrogated me. Like I was lying. The food was cold, tossed at us like an afterthought, and the entire experience left a pit in my stomach that I tried to ignore. I shouldn’t have.
Then came the second time. A delivery order, just to avoid the face-to-face disrespect. And somehow, it got even worse. The food was inedible—completely inedible. It felt like someone scraped together the scraps from the back of the fridge. The rice was burnt through, reeking of that bitter char that you can’t un-smell once it hits you. The taste was even worse—acrid and sour. We got stale store-bought Guerrero tortillas—the thin, stiff kind that crumble when you touch them. We received three for three large soups that we had specifically ordered for the handmade tortillas they’re supposed to come with. It felt like a cruel joke. Not a single bite was salvageable. We had to go out and spend more money—on top of what we’d just wasted.
It’s devastating. Because I’ve met the owners. I’ve seen the pride and the passion in their work. And it crushes me to say that this location is tarnishing that entirely. The staff here is dragging the name of this restaurant through the dirt. Their carelessness, their lack of hospitality, their inability to meet even the bare minimum of quality—it makes me sick.
I spent good money expecting even a fraction of what the Anaheim location delivers, and instead I’m left hungry, disappointed, and furious. The delivery company offered no help, no resolution, which meant even more time and money out of my pocket.
Do better. Please. Before this location completely sinks everything the family worked so...

Read moreClosest authentic Mexican food to Eastvale. Great food, friendly owners/staff, kick back atmosphere. My family has been there twice and has tried several dishes. Most notable for me is the costillas de puerco in salsa rojo y verde. You can't lose choosing either sauce. Mole was a little sweet for my taste buds, but the pozole and sopes were spot on delicious! So was the chicharron. The highlight of the dinner plates is getting freshly homemade corn tortillas with your meal. The only downside is that they close early, at 7pm (hopefully just temporarily). Must try restaurant, they keep it...
