So; We tried to use these folks. Little background, My Best Friends Father-in-law passed on Dec 18th 2020, During COVID. I live in St. Louis Metro area and we cannot travel. We called, were put on hold for 10 min. Then they picked up and put us directly on hold. No one said anything when this happen. Waited another 10 Mins on hold. Put back on hold (could hear them talking to each other) but nothing was said to us. We said "Screw this" We called Bada Bloom in Bradley. Long story short, I was always told call; Busse & Rieck growing up. NEVER EVER AGAIN! All my future florist needs will be sent to Bada Bloom in Bradley. Their staff was MORE than helpful. They were sympathetic to our needs and our time. Was NEVER placed on HOLD and they had sincere condolences in their voice. Not HOLD ON, And never say another thing for 20 Mins. AND they were better priced. NEVER SHOP with Busse & Rieck . They Just don't care about customer needs. They have been around forever, maybe too long; ;and forgot how they were founded. Customers...... Ya; us. Prolly need to go ahead and rethink where to go from here. They lost their way. Its NOT just about money.

Read moreI am the person who orders flowers from our church. We had a special event with the Mayor attending and wanted some good sized nice floral arrangements in the sanctuary. Somehow there was a mix-up in the date I needed the flowers; I needed them on a Wednesday and the order had been put in for Thursday.
When I stopped to pick them up in the morning and found them not ready they apologized profusely and asked what time I needed them by. There was ample time and I was told the designer would put them together right away and they would be delivered on the house.
Mistakes happen, I get that but I was most impressed with the way the situation was handled! We have been a customer of Busse & Reick for decades. This was first time ever a mistake had been made. It was obvious by their actions they valued our relationship and I left completely satisfied, knowing the situation was handled..
About an hour later the arrangements showed up at the church and they were in a word, stunning!!! I wanted a nice full arrangement so did them at $75 apiece. I was completely, if not over satisfied with their work.
I would recommend Busse & Reick to anyone. And after I saw the way they handled the mistake I am now even more loyal to them.

I ordered a handheld fresh flower bouquet for my daughter's quinceañera (15th bday) and when I ordered, I was told for a bouquet with 3 roses (plus filler) it would be around sixty some $$ I asked if they had a 3 rose bouquet or a picture for reference and they said no. So I thought it might be too few roses so I decided to order a 6 rose bouquet to which they would add filler to make it look full for a total of $87. I gave them a picture of my daughter's artificial bouquet and the dress she would be wearing so they could match it as close as possible. Here are a few pictures of what they gave my husband when he went to pick it up. Most of the flowers had spots that were wilting, and they added green flowers, when there was no green on my daughter's dress nor on her artificial flower bouquet, and I think they could have done better putting it together, the flowers were uneven and the way the stems were wrapped did not look good to me. This bouquet was so small, if this is worth $87 I'd hate to see what the sixty some $$ bouquet would look like. I have ordered bouquets from another store on 2 previous occasions and what they gave me was twice as big for a much lower price, only reason I didn't go to that flower shop was because it...
