Boz Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Kankakee

The reason I gave it two stars is because well I got a French well Italian beef sandwich. Some people call it French dip others call it Italian beef. Anyway when I got that sandwich there was no combo with it so they're like you don't get a chips and a drink and they charge it individually and I got ripped off. I spent $12.54 that they're at that place a little after 11:00 a.m. today. And they charge me like a dollar 79 for a medium soda and they were charging $9.30 for the Italian beef which I think that's a lot for a sandwich and you don't get chips with it which I think that is a rip off. Look and if anyone sees this review and you're wondering why there's nobody that was there to buy your food your food is good but your prices are overrated. I'm sorry I prefer a lunch combo instead of paying for individuals and charging even more it's just like you're not getting more than what you pay for You're almost charging 20 bucks or more You're just overrated. I'm sorry and I didn't even get a cookie and I was still hungry after I ate my sandwich. So quite frankly I'm not convinced so I'm not coming back....

Stopped in for a Chicago style hot dog.. Picked up a polish and a tamale 🫔 with chili sauce. The hot dog was a bit bland, lacking the Vienna beef flavor I expected, the polish was a bit better with onions and mustered, tamale was the best covered in chili. No fries just chips, bit outdated to be honest, will try other options as I'm hearing this is the best beef in town? I've had some fantastic beefs thru out my year's and I'm eager to try one... I’ve been coming here for years for Italian beef because it’s my favorite place in town to get it, but the last time I went it was just disappointing. I ordered a mozzarella beef. When I got it, there was no mozzarella and it was the most dry Italian beef I’ve ever had. They didn’t steam the buns like they normally do and the beef itself was just so very dry. I’ll try it again in the future in the hopes that this visit was a fluke. Hopefully they don’t...
