I am rating this as a venue for a wedding. The experience I had with this venue was not pleasant. We chose the theatre because the setup and atmosphere were amazing to use for a wedding so there's nothing wrong with the looks or upkeep. My issue was with the way we were treating by the lady who ran the place. She was not nice. The rates and prices kept changing. The times we were able to get in and out kept changing. It is overpriced and I felt like she took advantage of us. We were charged an additional $300 on top of the $1200 rental rate just to set up for 3 hours the day before. Which she tried to later charge me $350 for. She told us that linens were included when in fact they were not and was an additional $100. We were supposed to be able to rent the facility for the entire day of the wedding. At one point she told us we were able to access the building at 10am then later told not until 1pm. I had people who needed to set up earlier than 1 and was told no. When those same people showed up at 1, the doors were locked and they couldn't get in. They waited for a while until they finally called her inside and asked if they could get in. She was not nice to them at all and not accommodating by any means. During the reception we were told that someone would dim lights and light the walkways but no one did so it was super bright on the dance floor the whole time which deterred guests from wanting to dance. After the reception we left earlier than the time we needed to be out of the building and a few family members and the wedding party were outside talking and she clicked off all the lights on them. I thought that was pretty rude. I felt like I got ripped off. I would not recommend anyone to use this facility to have a wedding in. I am sure it is great for it's intended use as a theatre but...

Next, we are going to perform at the Merryman performing arts center for several elementary schools on a friday afternoon. I have been apart of act ever since I was in 3rd grade and I have got into every show and musical that I have ever tried out for and they have all...
