These places look nice at a quick glance, but don't waste your money renting from them. They are pet friendly but you have to pay at least $45 per month per pet. 2 pet max. They discriminated against us for having a service dog. Told us we would have to rehome a pet to keep service dog. These places are cheaply built. They will charge you for every little thing when you move out. Don't count on getting full deposit back. Pool is dirty. They don't hire a professional to keep it clean. I got pink eye from sitting in the hot tub one time. Pool suposadely closes at 9. But they dont enforce that. On multiple occasions there were people at the pool being loud way past that time. It's a very loud environment. They told us there weren't college kids who rented from them because they can't afford the price. But there were tons of college kids there. They partied and were loud. You can hear peoples music clearly outside coming from vehicles. They make you do a DNA swab on your dogs and say they will charge you if they have to pick up the poop. There is tons of dog poop around the area that people don't bother to pick up. Its disgusting. They lied to us on multiple occasions to get us to move in. They let themselves in your apartment constantly and will look at everything. Overheard another tenant catch them going through her closet when they were there to replace filters. Which led to us putting cameras up. When you move out they will overcharge you for paint/ cleaning fees. Even if you clean it yourself they will charge you. They say they want you to make it feel like home, but expect to pay for every nail hole you make. Told us we could use command strips but you cant. The paint they use is oil based and nothing will stick to it. Charged us almost $700 to move out. We didnt put any nail holes in the wall. Thats just cleaning and paint fees. Nothing above normal wear and tear. I steam cleaned entire apartment before we moved out. Parking is a nightmare. They have a dog run area with fake grass. Reaks of dog urine. I would never allow my dog in there due to it being so smelly and not maintained properly. There are only a couple large grassy areas that UNK keeps stickers out of. I constantly was pulling stickers out of my dogs paws. They will cheat you out of every penny they can. Rent is outrageous. Internet goes out constantly. You are required to pay for their internet wich is also very pricey. The hallways in apartment building 2114 reak of sewer. Laundry machines are filthy and stink. Electrical is terrible. One outlet can't even run a coffee pot. They do have nice tubs in some units. But don't put a big enough water heater in to even fill 1/3 of the way. This place is a greedy cooperation and overall not worth the money. There is only one building that is handicap accessible. It was difficult for my handicap family to visit due to this issue. You can pay to rent a garage. But garage doors aren't standart height. There was a tenant who had to leave his garage door open just to fit his pickup in the garage. Amy and Callie will lie to your face. My service dog hated Amy. That tells me everything I need to know. They aren't good people. They don't care about the tenants. They just want money. Again, a greedy business. Save yourself the headache and money and rent from someone else. I can't say enough negative things about this place. We signed a lease for 6 months in the middle of the month and they are charging us through the end of the month. So charging us for 6 and 1/2 months. It's all around terrible. Glad we are no...
Read morePrices are high for the location, and what you get in return is not worth it. Walls are paper thin. No laundry machines and you have to pay monthly fee to "rent" them. No option to choose your internet service, which is expensive (80$/month) and also unreliable. Their offer of renting "deposit-free" is misleading because you have to sign up for a monthly service which costs much more in the long run. They will also swindle you out of your deposit with unexpected moving out charges. Amy and Calley will do the absolutely minimum necessary to address your requests/complaints. Overall, the place gave me "scammy" vibes that you would not expect from a new housing development such as this. I am so glad I moved out of the place.
Future tenants, please pay close attention to the 1-star...
Read moreThis is by far the best place I’ve ever lived. I have lived here for a year and loved it. It is expensive, but you know that going in. There are no hidden fees or extra charges. If you are budgeting and curious: My water bill was at most $4 a month, and my energy/electric was around 60-70. My favorite part about living here has not been all of the amazing facilities, but the staff. Michelle and Polly are the best! They are so kind and are always there to help or answer any questions. I have felt so cared for and supported by the both of them. I am a college student and they always checked in on me and treated me...
