We purchased a PS4 online for pickup at the Keene store, for my stepson's 12th birthday. Pickup was easy, as was ordering online.
That isn't what my review is about though. I am posting this review because we had some issues with the console and set up.
The Wednesday before Black Friday, we went in with the console we purchased and and Chris (the manager) kindly exchanged it for another of the same. Then, on Black Friday, we had to go back because the 2nd console was having issues as well. Despite us showing up mid-day, during the rush of the holiday, Chris (the store manager) personally took the time to look over the system and fix the issues we were experiencing, and install the game we'd purchased onto the system to see if it was working properly for us. The process took a good hour or so to complete, but he did so with a smile- while helping as many customers as he could during our visit.
EVERY RETAIL STORE SHOULD HAVE A MANAGER LIKE THIS MAN. He was so kind to our son, and to us... And his eagerness to assist every and anyone who entered the store that day was wonderful.
Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond for us! The smile that my stepson had on his face when we got home and he played his PS4 was better than any gift.
We hope that you stay at GameStop for at least another 18 years!
I absolutely 100% recommend this store location for anything gamer and system related. Between the helpful and knowledgeable staff, and the HUGE selection of products available, there is something for everyone and you'll feel welcome shopping here.

Read moreI went into this GameStop yesterday and had a very uncomfortable experience with the manager. As I walked in I was greeted with “hi what’re you looking for today?” I said that I was just looking and was met with said manager rudely saying “of course” with a sigh as if he was upset I was just looking and not there to specifically buy something. As I was looking at the Pokémon cards with my boyfriend I mentioned that I probably shouldn’t buy anything because I just bought a new phone that’s when the manager asked me what kind of phone it was. I told him it was an iPhone and was immediately met with “I’m sorry” like it was a bad thing that I bought an iPhone. He then decided it was appropriate to say “did you know that it’s more likely for a female to reject a man who has an android?” He said this in a very rude misogynistic way which made me super uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I kinda just stood there awkwardly then decided we didn’t want to buy anything from them anymore and left. I went back in today to tell the other employee who humored him yesterday when he said that, to tell him that it was wrong to talk to a customer in that way and was met with a very disinterested and kind of stuck up “I get you.” “there’s nothing I can do.” Response. He seemed to get annoyed that I was there to tell him it was inappropriate and it didn’t seem like he cared at all. I’m not one for confrontation but this is just so weird and frustrating. I would not recommend any woman to go in there and talk to the manager, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been made...
Read moreI'm extremely upset and shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness I got from just a phone call to this location. They have an item I wanted to my Husband for our anniversary but it's a 2 hour drive to their location. I was always told they can have items shipped from other stores, so I went to the store near me and kindly asked them to have this location send the Infinity Gauntlet Replica from Marvel Infinity Wars shipped to my nearest store. The employee was so rude on the phone that he cut off the employee on front of me and said he won't ship it to Taunton MA before the employee in front of me even finished talking then hung up. Even the Gamestop employee in front of me said that he was a ride ass hole. Ive never had such a rude experience before. Smh. I don't know if I can even get this item now.
