I spent a week at Panera studying for my NCKEX exam. So ordering food there almost three meals a day. Here is what I found. If you don't want to have Hep A, don't use their coffee mug because the mug they gave me felt warm, fresh out of the dishwasher? No!! I saw coffee stain around the edge and had to get another one. I ordered salad bowl once and turkey sandwitch once...For the extremely expensive price they charged, I'd say it is not worth it at all. The lattace in the salad and the sandwitch were not fresh at all. They look like it has been in the frage for over a week. When i ordered the full size sandwitch, they cut it half. I was so concentrated on my studying that I didn't look at the sandwitch while doing practice test on my phone. After half of the sandwitch was gone, I picked up the other half and saw the lattace was lifeless and had black mark on it. I came to the store manager. He returned with my half sandwitch with only the lattace changed. Here is the difference in managing problems: at Applebee's, every time i had problem with the food, they remake it and take the charge off the bill. Now even if Applebee's took some of my fav foods off the menu and increased the price in general,I still go back. Panera??? No way would I waste a penny there. Panera's food quality and services are not worth if the price...
Read moreI usually like Panera Bread for the relaxed, cozy atmosphere, but this location in particular had some off putting situations arise. At first, I decided to order through the kiosk, only to be yelled at by a cashier mumbling about having to do everything. Apparently the kiosks were down, but they gave no indication as to whether or not they were offline until the cashier stormed over. There's a certain way to handle these situations, and yelling at a customer should not be one of them. Then when I was told to go back and wait in line, the cashier approached the people I stood behind and harshly asked if they were waiting. When the customers said no, she told me to go wait by the register and proceeded to tell me what it is I ordered. It wouldn't have been an issue if the employee wasn't snarky and disrespectful. I usually always have patience with customer service,I get that it can be a hard job. I corrected my order, letting her know I'm not ordering a pick 2, and finished my order and stood in line to pick it up. I then observed the employee turning around to a coworker and mumbling something while glaring out into the restaurant. I'm usually an easy person to get along with, but not when the service becomes rude. Had I not traveled a few hours, I would have left and located a more...
Read moreServing microwaved honey and almonds for breakfast. I am sorry to report that this once reliable Panera has fallen to the wolves. The first sign of its demise was the employee reading a magazine behind the register. When asked if he was working? "No, I am on break." When the oatmeal qinoa honey power bowl arrived it was covered with cinnamon crunch brown sugar, not honey. A replacement was requested. The replacement was cold. A replacment was requested. The replacement was the same bowl microwaved to excessive temperatures, including the almonds and the honey/ Who microwaves almonds and honey? It was disgusting. The replacement came back with no spoon. You can see in the photo one tray for each replacement requested. Plus the spoon makes 4 trips to the counter to get an inferior product. When I asked what was going on back there, what happened to the quality control? "We're just bouncing around." Time to stop bouncing and shape up. Next time I want a quinoa power bowl I will go to The Works, a locally owned chain with a branch on Main Street in...
