9/13/23 Access to Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts was easy. Attendees to the play experienced a simple short block walk from the available parking lot in front of Gendusa's Italian Restaurant. Dinner was quite good. "Dinner and the thiata" was a goal easily accomplished. The theater and available services were more than adequate for the hosted population. The staff was quite personable. They were more than willing to provide guidance and direction as well as answer any questions. I enjoyed the experience and would be more than willing to do it again.

The theater was full for "Singing in the Rain." As far as I am concerned as an "unqualified" critic, I truly enjoyed the performance. Seating was adequate, though somewhat snug. Viewing angles were good. The size of the seating area was good for the dimensions of the stage. I don't believe there was a bad seat in the theater. Make plans to go but leave seats for...

The ushers were kind and the theater was comfortable. Bathrooms in venues like this are what help me decide the level of cleanliness. The theater and the bathroom was clean and didn't smell bad. I was pleased and comfortable as a result.

The show was phenomenal! I cried so many times because the actress, Chloé Johnson evoked emotion from Sally Bowles like no other. She made you want to call Sally and offer her a shoulder to cry on, a room to stay in, and a heart to rely on...I think Liza Minelli would be impressed. Did I mention that this Sally was a barrier-breaking beautiful African American Goddess? I'm sorry you missed it. It was worth every mile that I traveled to see it. If I had the chance, I would watch it a...

There are 2 theaters here and so far I only been in the smaller one (north building). Outside it looks nice. Inside it's just plain. Seating in this one is first come first serve for the most part however every seat seems to be a good one. We have only seen 2 shows here ("Broadway New Orleans Style" and "Grammaw and the Magic Goo") and both were insanely funny! Not to mention the cast were very talented. I had invited a bunch of my friends to go with me and they all loved it! Even ones that I thought might not like it said they enjoyed it. We're looking forward to seeing more shows! In fact I just bought tickets to see "Ricky Graham's New Orleans Fairy Tales" and I'm dragging some more...

No photos were allowed during the performance... but want to say that the production of "Once upon a Matress" was very well done recreation of the Princess & the Pea. Charachters were very engaging, sound was at a perfect level, singers were on point! There was a little ballet, a little tap, & a lot of laughs. The show started at 7:30 & lasted till 9:30 with a brief Intermission & concession stand was open. Well worth the $45 per ticket for center row. Although I must say you could have seen everything just fine from any seat in this theater.

What a wonderful theater. On the small side, there isn't a bad seat in the house. I got a targeted Facebook ad for a local production of Matilda the Musical and decided to come. The actors were all amazing. Honestly, this was a better value for the money than a lot of other shows I've been to. I will be back to see other shows in the future. There is no dedicated parking lot. The restroom was clean and well stocked.
