Noah LeVay Salon — Attraction in Kennesaw

I have been coming here since I moved to Kennesaw 5 years ago. Heather has been my stylist —- although I do love Zach, Stephanie, and Justin, too. Heather has a done a wonderful job leading her team. They’re truly a loving work family. Being a business owner myself, it’s important to me to see a healthy work atmosphere.

Heather has stuck with me as my stylist through two nursing babies—-making accommodations so that I could nurse comfortably. The salon team has held my babies to give me more time in the chair.

My hair is long and takes hours to highlight or balayage. I have made her mistake of going elsewhere once when I was in a bind and out of state, and it took us 6 months to get my hair back to the beautiful state she had created before. I will not let anyone else do my color and highlights (except Zach)! Heather is just amazing with it!

This year, I will be competing in Mrs Georgia America as Mrs Kennesaw, and Heather has already helped me so much! She got my hair to the perfect level of blonde AND ordered the most fantastic set of extensions to use for my headshots and events. The headshots are stunning—-and it is in part in thanks to Heather for the care she has shown my hair.

Today was the first day I was able to get my hair done since the shelter in place order and I needed a full highlight badly. I cannot stop looking at and feelin my hair. I feel fantastic and effortlessly beautiful.

I had a very unfortunate experience at this salon where I was a first-time costumer. I went in for a haircut and asked for 3-4 inches off. The hairstylist (Adi) was too scared or perhaps overly cautious and said she would only cut 2 inches and that I could go back if I wanted it shorter, if I called within a week of my appointment (which I did). When I called I was willing to go that immediate weekend but I was told my hairstylist would be traveling and so we pushed the date for a different weekend. Unfortunately, due to a last minute commitment I had to travel and couldn’t make it to that second appointment, so I rescheduled online. I later got a text saying that I would be charged as a full haircut because the gap between my first and second cuts would be too far apart. When I called to get an explanation, I spoke with a front desk lady and later with the hairstylist who both simply said “It’s our policy.” When the hairstylist traveled they were okay with rescheduling my appointment for a later date but when I, the costumer, had a time conflict it was “too late.” I wasn’t trying to take advantage of this perk and get a free haircut, I simply wanted the other 1-2 inches off that I originally asked for and I didn’t get, yet I paid for. From reading other reviews across platforms it sounds like they are very kind when you leave a good review but quickly become defensive when you’ve had a bad experience at the salon. Sooo… Elyse is probably one of my favorite people and she doesn’t even know it😎 I recently moved to GA from Palm Beach and had no clue what I was doing when I box dyed my $400 dollar do because I just wanted to cover grays quickly because I had so much going on at one time with the move the job the animals.. pretty much making excuses at this point for my poor life choice when it came to the DREADED BOX DYE!!! Elyse was so real let me tell you. When a hairdresser does a test strand on your hair to see if it holds up to the challenge of going back light and politely tells you that she’s not comfortable with putting my hair through that right away. Instead, she spun my chair around looked me in my eyes and asked me if I would be OK Starting a journey with her slowly getting my hair back to a healthy state while she mixed up a beautiful brown to cover my roots and carry that throughout with a nice haircut and blowout, she made me happy to look at myself in the mirror again however she is more patient than I am And I test her patience on the regular with asking to go back light. But she’s a tough cookie and stands her ground and says no no Stacey we are on a journey remember lol. I would recommend this salon to anyone. It’s always such a vibe.
