Houghton Park & Ride — Attraction in Kirkland

The former Houghton Park & Ride has been repurposed as Houghton Park & Play. What once was a large parking lot for commuters has been converted into a skate park and pickleball courts. The skate park isn't your typical variety. It is filled with different types of ramps for skateboarders to do flips. The pickleball court space looks nicer as they are all fenced. There are challenger and timed courts here. Park doesn't seem all that crowded, so I would recommend checking this park out if you are looking for a nice public pickleball court on...

I haven't or won't use this park, but what a nice use of what is typically a pretty empty and huge parking lot. There are now 4 or 6 pickleball courts and some for kids to use for bikes or skateboards.
