We attended a Saint Louis FC game there. The game was great. The venue wasn't. It was our first time attending an STL FC game and our first time in the stadium since the 90s. It reeked strongly of urine in multiple places: the parking lot, walking between the two sets of stands, and at our seats. The woman who took our parking money just continued gossiping with her coworker instead of greeting customers, and then the woman at the security check at the gate was really rude. It was raining when we left the house, so we brought an umbrella. When we got to the gate with the small umbrella, she says loudly and rudely so everyone can hear her yelling at us, "I DON'T KNOW WHY EVERYONE IS BRINGING UMBRELLAS IN!! THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED!" I said, "because it was raining," and ran it back to the car. While I was gone, my father said that people bring them because they don't know not to. Her reply was also rude: "Well it's on the website." Well, I had checked the FAQ page for the soccer park on the STL FC website, and it isn't on the FAQ page. I checked that page 2 times for questions I had about the stadium and neither one was on there, including what may or may not be brought into the stadium, so maybe they should think about updating both their website and their gate employees. Or post a sign at the parking entrance or something. Meanwhile, when I had returned from putting the umbrella back in the car, the gate woman had just allowed a woman to enter with TWO umbrellas sticking out of her backpack immediately in...
Read moreWe have a kid on a slsg team so we are here quite often. I suggest coming earlier than you think because parking can be difficult! They really need more parking lot space. We go out the back exit and take the road on the east side to get to the highway entrance (don't go west all the way to bowles Ave). The food is decent, staff doesn't really know anything so don't plan on song questions or special requests. You just have to squint to see the bottled beer so if you think you see something you recognize just go with that. I do wish they had another (better) set of restrooms closer to the fields. The port a potties aren't a great choice, and they are pretty permanent, right? Overall, the facility is clean, I think the location is easy to get to, and there are a few other food/drink options nearby should you want to stop before or...
Read moreThis is a top notch soccar park. There are multiple fields with tons of places to view from. They have a newer stadium that is in great condidtion. I would estimate it could hold close to 5,000-6,000 people. The game I was at had 4,000, which felt a little crowded. They have multiple places to get food and drink, some of which are air conditioned. Half the stadium has "green Seats" attached to the bleachers offering better comfort and other perks. The parkling lot is easy to navigate and has decent bit of parking. Carpool if possible. They have multiple exits so leaving is fast. The minor league team that plays here has a great following and was fun to watch. Perfect for a...
